00:00All right, now let's zoom out to kind of just the rest of the College Hoops world here in the DC
00:05area. We're looking at March Madness with the Terps, maybe Mason, maybe AU, maybe Howard.
00:13You zoom out a little bit more, maybe VCU, maybe Towson. How much have you been enjoying kind of
00:18this College Hoops run right now? This is where I'll be bloody honest and say,
00:26I don't particularly pay attention to college until... So how did that Howard thing get on
00:31your radar? Again, being particularly honest, I have a former colleague who's now an assistant
00:37coach. That's cool. For Mel Rags. So he kept blowing up my phone saying, you got to get out
00:43here to see Blake. I'm like, okay, I will in March. But he got me out there in January to
00:50actually report on the story. But Commander stuff was pretty much taking my time. But I mean,
00:55I do know American is having that renaissance and it's a DC guy at the helm. Dwayne Simpkins,
01:02yeah. He's a Terp too. Yes, he is. This has been such a great history. And I'm an interloper. I'm
01:11not from the DC area. You guys may know that. But it's such a great history of this high school
01:16hoops here. And it's great to kind of see it now through Blake here in this new year. But you have
01:26Kenny Blakeby, who was all Metro along with... He was all Metro at the same time as I think
01:32Simpkins and Grant Hill. So you have all this history coming together and Blake, whether he
01:39stays at Howard or he, as the cliche goes, takes his talent to elsewhere, it's going to continue to
01:48keep DC front of mind as one of the greatest high school hotbeds for hoops.
01:55He's in a great position though. They found him right there.
