00:35In the viral images shared by Sinag, you can see the high supply of tomatoes in the town of Bongabon,

00:41which is being sold at a very low price or just being given for free.

00:48Here in Balintawak Market, the price is around 20 to 25 pesos per kilo.

00:53But sometimes, when there is an over supply, they sell it for 15 pesos per kilo.

01:01Yes, that's the cheapest.

01:02But when there is an interest, even if there is a little growth, we give 15 pesos per kilo.

01:43That's why cold storage facilities are important to avoid the loss of farmers.

01:48The DA also raised a fund of 1.5 billion pesos for the procurement of cold storage.

01:54The over supply of tomatoes is a recurring problem for many farmers.

01:59And it is not new to see that tomatoes are being thrown away or trashed during this time.

02:07The agency promised to provide help to the farmers of tomatoes.
