00:00The DSWD has continuously handed over the allocated work to four-piece beneficiaries in different parts of the country.

00:08This is in the program Job Fair Caravan of the New Philippines.

00:13PTV's Noel Talacay with the news for the country.

00:16Alan, not only cash aid, but also work was given by the Department of Social Welfare Development or DSWD

00:34to the members of the Pantawid Pamilang Pilipino Program or four-piece

00:39after the implementation of the Job Fair Caravan in four regions of the country.

00:47The DSWD has implemented the work in the New Philippines for four-piece, a Job Fair Caravan in the agency.

00:55It was first implemented in the National Capital Region on January 31, 2025

01:01and was followed by Western Visayas, Davao Region, and Negros Oriental last month.

01:08In the month, 20,000 four-piece beneficiaries were included in the Job Fair

01:16and all of them received P5,000 from the Sustainable Livelihood Programs Employment Assistance Fund of the agency.

01:25More than P100,000 of them were hired on the spot or were immediately hired for the applied work.

01:35According to the spokesperson of the DSWD, Assistant Secretary Irene Dumlao,

01:40the program is an initiative of the government to help those who have already completed the four-piece

01:48and are sure that they have a livelihood and can meet their needs and will not return to poverty.

01:55According to the government, not only are the four-piece helping those who are looking for a job,

02:02but they also provided Job Fairs for those in need of the pre-employment process of four-piece beneficiaries.

02:13Today, there was also a Job Fair in the New Philippines for four-piece in the province of Abra

02:23and approximately 3,500 beneficiaries will attend the Job Fair today in Abra.

02:32This initiative, this Job Fair, is also attended by the DSWD, the Department of Labor and Employment,

02:41and it will continue until the next month in various parts of the country.
