00:00A lot of things can go wrong during a taxi ride, but you can save the day if you solve all the riddles.
00:06A woman got into a taxi with a light suitcase.
00:09Along the way, they made a short stop, and she stepped out of the car.
00:13When she returned, it was obvious that her suitcase got much heavier, and she was nervous.
00:19The taxi driver took her to the police. Why?
00:30Her suitcase suddenly became much heavier after the stop.
00:34She must have put something inside.
00:36The driver noticed she was nervous and suspected that the luggage might contain illegal or stolen items.
00:43So he decided to take her to the police.
00:46A passenger took a taxi, and the ride cost $18.
00:50He gave the driver $50.
00:52The driver got distracted and accidentally gave back the $50 bill instead of a $20 bill.
00:58How much money did the passenger get as change?
01:09So the passenger gave $50 and received $50 back.
01:14Instead of getting $32 as he should have, he got $62.
01:19Let's hope he was honest and told the driver about it.
01:23A passenger ordered a taxi, and two drivers arrived at the same time.
01:27Both of them claimed they accepted the ride request, but one of them is honest,
01:32and the other will drive in circles to increase the fare.
01:35How can the passenger figure out who to trust?
01:46The female driver has a taxi meter on the dashboard, showing the number of passengers.
01:51The male driver has no taxi meter, and there's a map on the front seat.
01:56He might be planning to take unnecessary detours.
02:01A woman ordered a taxi through an app and saw that the car number matched the one in the booking.
02:07But as soon as she got inside, she realized that the driver was an imposter.
02:12How did she figure it out?
02:13The app showed that this was a licensed taxi, but inside there was no meter or official stickers with a license number.
02:20The driver's profile photo in the app showed a clean-shaven man,
02:24while the actual driver had a long beard that looked fake.
02:30Late at night, the driver's car was parked on the side of the road.
02:34The driver's car was parked on the side of the road.
02:36The driver's car was parked on the side of the road.
02:38The driver's car was parked on the side of the road.
02:40The driver's car looked fake.
02:42Late at night, a man ordered a taxi from a cafe.
02:45The driver arrived but after the passenger got in and asked to change the destination,
02:51He suddenly refused to drive him.
02:53Why?
03:02When the passenger got into the car, the taxi driver noticed that he had huge bags.
03:06bags. He asked to change the destination from a point in the city center to a
03:10dark forest on the outskirts. The driver decided not to take the risk and cancel
03:16the trip. Who knows what the passenger had in mind. A passenger gets into a taxi
03:22and says take me home. The driver remembers picking him up from the house
03:27a few days ago so he knows the street but the passenger doesn't want to tell
03:31the driver the house number for some reason and gives the driver one clue.
03:36My house number is a two-digit number that looks the same right side up as it
03:40does upside down. What is the passenger's house number?
03:51It's 69. Sam picks up a man in a smart suit not far away from a jewelry store.
04:00He tells Sam take the shortest route to the airport but don't pass by the police
04:04station. There's a traffic jam there. Sam does the opposite and drives the man
04:09directly to the police station. Why?
04:18Did you notice the man has three golden watches and five heavy golden chains on
04:24his neck? He must have robbed the jewelry store and doesn't want to be anywhere
04:28near the police station. A man hailed a taxi in the city center and gave the
04:33driver an address. The driver looked at him then at his phone and said sorry I
04:38can't take you and drove away. Why?
04:48The driver had just received an alert that a dangerous prisoner had escaped
04:53from an island prison. The description of the criminal matched. The driver
04:57suspected that the passenger might have changed into his lawyer's clothes and
05:01decided not to take the risk. Jill picks up a passenger at 3 15 p.m. The passenger
05:10needs to reach the train station by 3 45 p.m. to catch a train. Jill has three
05:15route options. Which route should Jill take?
05:24Route C. Even though it's the longest it takes only 20 minutes meaning he'll
05:32reach the station by 3 35 p.m. and will have enough time to find the platform.
05:37The driver can choose one of three passengers in the app. They all offer to
05:42pay the same fare. Who is the best option based on their profiles?
05:53The driver should pick Rick. The trip is short but the fare is the same as for
05:58other trips and he'll get some generous tips. A woman messages the driver
06:04through the taxi app. The driver immediately calls 9-1-1 and they rescue
06:08the woman. How did the driver guess she needed help?
06:14That house number looks really strange so the driver guesses it's a code. I is
06:24the ninth letter of the alphabet so it stands for nine and A stands for one so
06:29it was a call for action. It turned out that a stranger had broken into the
06:33woman's house and wouldn't let her call for help directly and she had to get
06:38creative. Taxi driver Tim receives an order with a special request. A scientist
06:44who has some fragile equipment they want to transport is asking Tim to enter
06:48their house and help with the cargo but they didn't specify on which floor they
06:52lived. Can you help Tim figure it out?
07:02There's clearly a family with a child on the ground floor. Look at all those toys.
07:07It's not clear who lives on the first floor. Tim definitely needs the top floor
07:12because of all the flasks and other equipment. Sam finished on his 10-hour
07:18shift. He left the taxi in the parking lot. When he came back the next morning
07:23there was a stranger sleeping in the back seat. None of the windows were
07:27broken so Sam doesn't understand how it was possible. Can you help him figure it
07:32out? The stranger didn't have to break the window because the doors weren't
07:43locked. Sam forgot to lock the car because he was really tired after the
07:4810-hour shift. The passengers are in a playful mood and don't want to name the
07:54destination address. Instead they give the driver a rebus. Can you figure out
08:00where they want to go? They want to go to the Eiffel Tower. Look at their
08:11berets. They're perfectly prepared for a photo shoot. There was a massive blackout
08:18in the city but the taxi driver still noticed a dog on the road and managed to
08:22stop in time and avoid hitting it. What superpower helped him do it? No one said
08:34the accident happened at night and during the day the driver didn't need
08:37electric light to see the dog. Two daughters and two mothers ordered a taxi.
08:43The driver specified he had only three seats in the car but it didn't stop them.
08:48How is it possible? They are a grandmother, a mother and a daughter. Two
09:01of them are moms and two of them are daughters so there's enough room for
09:05everyone in the taxi. Martha receives an order from Mr. White from a really shady
09:11neighborhood. When she arrives she sees two men claiming to have made the order.
09:16She's afraid one of them could be a criminal trying to leave the area incognito. How can
09:22she figure out who actually ordered a taxi through an app? She just needs to ask to see
09:34the passenger's phone. The real Mr. White will have a ride request on it. All the
09:40passengers have arrived at their destinations and all the taxi drivers are safe thanks to you.
09:45Well done!
