00:00I'm sure you have a long list of players for each position that you want to recruit in, but is Harry top of the goalkeeper list with what you've said before?
00:07Well, it's something that we have to have a look at, don't we, of course. We'll have them conversations, as I said, there's still a long, long way to go.
00:16We've got to speak to his parent club, obviously Everton, and Harry and see what the situation is.
00:23Obviously, he's not going to have all those conversations yet, but I'm guessing he's enjoying himself here with the staff.
00:27Why wouldn't he? He's playing, he's gained that experience. For me, he's a far better goalkeeper than he was when I arrived six months ago,
00:38just simply because he's playing week in and week out and gaining big experience.
00:45So, yeah, we've been very, very pleased with him. A difficult start for him, but we expected that too.
00:51When you take a young goalkeeper who hasn't played in the league before, I think overall he's done a smashing job.
00:58Could the next couple of months be like an extended pre-season where you stamp your authority, you get your style across more and more and they get into the summer, don't they?
01:05Possibly, possibly. We've tried to make change. It was a big gamble in January to let a lot of players go, which we did, and we brought in three.
01:17Two of them in particular, well, three of them have given us something a bit different in the short period they've been here.
01:26They've only been here a month. So, yeah, we're pleased with that. But you're right, let's see if we can put something in place.
01:34Recruitment, like in any club, is key. So, Dino, the Chief Scout here and Downsie, we've got a big, important summer ahead.
01:46We're all in it together and we're scouring everywhere we can. As I said, we did well in January, in my opinion.
01:53We've now got a big, big, big summer ahead.
01:56How much does it help finishing one season strongly, hanging into the next one?
01:59Yeah, of course it does. Of course it does. Look, we can't give anything up just yet.
02:05We're professional people, professional footballers. We're paid to win and do a job.
02:10So, we've got a few weeks to go. Let's enjoy the running, see what we can do.
02:15Is there pressure on some players, those who are out of contract to play for the future?
02:19Do you know something? There's always pressures on a football player.
02:22And if you're out of contract or you're on loan, then, of course, it's big times for you.
02:28But the pressure is there.
