00:00There's so much conversation around the one line and a lot of people are starting to feel as if
00:07Duke, Auburn and Houston have secured three of those four spots with maybe Florida and Tennessee
00:15battling it out. How do you see the one line right now? I think Houston and Florida are still in play.
00:22The other two are locked and I'm not even sure that Auburn's not locked as the one overall. I
00:28kind of believe they are with everything they've achieved in the regular season. 15 quad one wins
00:34to date, the most difficult games to win. They have 15 of those. No one else has more than 10
00:41at this point. I think it'd be hard to get that off of them. I think Houston's in very good position,
00:47but they need to finish with the win against Baylor and then do fine, not great, but fine
00:54in the big 12 tournament and one of them will be theirs. And then the last of them, Florida,
00:59is in a great position because of the two road wins in the state of Alabama, Auburn a little
01:05while ago and then this past week, the Crimson Tide taking them down. So they're in really good
01:11shape, but still could be overtaken, I suppose, by Tennessee, to a lesser extent Alabama, and maybe
01:19on the outside, probably not, but maybe Michigan State, which has played so well of late. But I'd
01:25say that the first four of those are in good shape, but still would want to be careful about
01:33how they close the season, the last two of them, Houston and Florida. Yeah, that's just the follow-up
01:38I wanted to ask you specifically, kind of with, arguably right, three SEC teams fighting for that
01:44spot, and there's always this question about how much does the conference tournament games matter
01:49when the committee is making these decisions? Do you, if we see Tennessee win the SEC tournament,
01:56do you think that may hold more weight than perhaps it has in years past? Not necessarily
02:03winning it. The title game, I believe the SEC plays their title game still on Sunday,
02:09and so it's difficult for the committee to consider that particular exercise because it's so
02:16close to when the bracket needs to be revealed. They obviously have to take into account if someone
02:22that weren't a likely tournament contender were in that game. I'm not sure there are any other,
02:28maybe South Carolina and LSU, and I don't think we're going to see them in the final,
02:32but otherwise they like to move along. And the thing that people complain about,
02:37that they don't take them into account, miss the fact that by the time we get to that point
02:43in the season, most of the teams have played 35, 36 games, so they've really made statements about
02:49who they are and what they can achieve. And so it's hard to change perception or hard to change
02:55the analysis of what you've accomplished with one or two games. So you won't see a lot of movement
03:02at this point. People are conditioned now, because of the fact that you see so much poll
03:07movement, and the polls aren't really reflective of how the committee does their jobs, to think
03:13that there should be a lot of movement if results happen. But there's not going to be a lot when
03:18you've already got full libraries of accomplishments for all of the teams that are being discussed.
