00:00Now Leeds this weekend take a trip to Fratton Park and of course we'll factor into this as well the way the league table is looking.
00:07Three points a gap now because of course Leeds has drawn Sheffield United's win, it was five before that game.
00:13So it's a game where obviously Leeds will be expected to win, Portsmouth have had a mixed season it's fair to say.
00:21But I think just overall Leeds go their win, they either maintain that current gap the way it is at three points or potentially extend it.
00:29It feels absolutely huge this one Daniel, and especially so because of the way the fixtures pan out.
00:33Obviously we're talking now ahead of Burnley playing in midweek at Cardiff, Burnley then play again at home to Luton at the weekend,
00:39you'd fully expect them to win that. Obviously a championship is unpredictable, you never know, but they would be expected to.
00:44And Sheffield United are at home to Preston, so you talk about the big gaps and stuff, but the fact is that Leeds could end up kicking off this game,
00:50level on points with Sheffield United, albeit they'll have a game in hand and they'd only be two points ahead of Burnley.
00:56So, you know, it could be very, very close indeed. And all of a sudden the nerves start maybe jangling a little bit and pressure can do stuff to teams.
01:03And if both of those teams win their games this week and obviously Leeds then don't win at Portsmouth, even if they draw,
01:08then obviously the gap's a lot closer and it starts, you know what I mean?
01:11As I say, pressure and nerves can do funny things to teams because there's no doubt Leeds have been the best team in the league.
01:16So, you know, yeah, it does feel like a huge one. They need to go there and win really.
01:20Won't be easy, obviously horrendous kickoff time, 12 noon on a Sunday.
01:24That's awful for the fans, but it's probably not great for Leeds either with the travel and stuff and obviously having to prepare for it and all that sort of stuff.
01:30So that's a definite factor, as is the fact that they held Leeds to a 3-3 draw at the start of the season.
01:35We all remember that one, as is the fact that Portsmouth are doing quite well, you know, obviously in terms of trying to stay up.
01:40So, and they're all quite good at home, I think 11th division at home.
01:44So lots of reasons why it won't be easy, but equally, you know, Leeds' class should shine through really.
01:48Also, Portsmouth have got a hell of a lot of injuries. I think it's four centre-backs out.
01:52And when you've got four centre-backs out, you know, that's not great.
01:54And Marlon Packer is one of the ones playing at centre-back as a midfielder.
01:57And he's basically said himself, there's no coincidence that results haven't been good when everybody's, you know, not when we've got those injuries.
02:03So really, especially with Leeds' attack, they should be able to go there and get it done.
02:06But obviously it goes without saying, it feels like the biggest game of the season so far.
02:10It does feel big. And I think, you know, it's a big week that one, because obviously Pompey away, then Leeds v Millwall, QPR away, go and get three good results in there.
02:17And you're not quite one foot in the Premier League, but you're well on the way.
02:20On the flip side, obviously, if they don't go well, these three games, then obviously it could start to get very, very nervous.
02:25And nobody wants that. And nobody wants to play off. So go there, get a win.
02:29And then, you know, obviously, hopefully it's onwards and upwards.
02:31Yeah, I think that is the key point. It's just the stage of the season now where Leeds need to be winning pretty much every single game.
02:38If not, you know, and if they're not just not losing either, which to be fair, they haven't done for some time.
02:43But yeah, that is all for now. Then we'll be back next week to see if Leeds have won at Fratton Park.
02:48But until then, thank you all very much for watching and for listening. And we will see you next time.
02:53Cheers for now.
