00:00I'm taking over Liverpool for 10 seasons with the goal of making them the best club in the world.
00:04But wait, what does that even mean? Is it just about winning trophies?
00:08I mean yeah, to be the best you gotta win a lot of silverware.
00:10So our main goal today is to win 25 trophies over the decade.
00:14But Liverpool is more than that.
00:16They're also famous for developing their local lads.
00:19And that's why our second challenge is gonna be to develop
00:21four local Liverpool players to a 90 plus rating.
00:25This takeover is gonna be really challenging
00:27because we're gonna have to carefully prioritize between
00:29building the best possible team to win all the trophies,
00:32but also trusting our youngsters and giving them opportunities.
00:35But here we go boys, season one with Liverpool.
00:38And Arnie Slott has done us a solid boys because this team is in a really good spot.
00:42To be fair, I should be giving more credit to Jurgen Klopp
00:45because this team still feels like a Jurgen Klopp team for the most part.
00:48But that's also gonna make this takeover really challenging in the later seasons
00:52because players like Mo Salah, Van Dijk,
00:54they're all towards the latter stages of their career.
00:57But hey, Mo Salah is still 91, Van Dijk is 90.
01:00While they're super high rated, we're gonna make the most of them.
01:03By the way, I forgot to mention that we have three more challenges
01:05that we're gonna try and complete.
01:07One is to achieve a hundred point season in the Premier League.
01:10Come on man, Man City did it and became the Centurions.
01:13I wanna do that with Liverpool.
01:14Also winning three Champions League titles.
01:16And also having a Ballon d'Or winner from Liverpool.
01:20Maybe this could be Salah, who knows?
01:22But okay, let's focus on sorting the team out for season one.
01:25I'm already a big fan of Arnie Slott's tactics,
01:27so I don't think we need to change that.
01:28But yeah, for this first season, this Liverpool team is absolutely brilliant.
01:32I mean, we've got a World Cup winner in McAllister,
01:35the best centre-back in the world, Van Dijk,
01:37Alisson in goal, Trent is still here.
01:39I can still think of a few improvements that we can make,
01:42mainly in that striker position.
01:43Maybe that's somewhere I think Liverpool are lacking.
01:46Xhota is okay, but I always see him as more of a winger.

01:51I think for this first season,
01:53all we need to do is bring in a really good striker
01:55that kind of fits into Arnie Slott's tactics.
01:57And to be fair, our budget is only gonna be good enough for one striker.

02:02But before we get into making signings,
02:04one thing we need to figure out is
02:05which of the local Liverpool lads we're gonna focus and develop.

02:12and if we play him week in, week out,
02:14he's gonna get that 90 plus rating.
02:16Jharrel Kwanzaa is another one,
