Is it even possible to mod the Casio f91w? It is such a thin watch, but I think we can pull off a filter mod where we swap the color of the screen. I am going to use one of my Casio Royale filter kits for the task. After removing the time module, adding some adhesive, and a green filter, it all fits!

00:00Is it even possible to mod this Casio? Well I'm gonna crack it open and find out. Maybe we could
00:04do a filter mod to change the screen color, but this watch is so thin I'm concerned there's not
00:08even enough room internally to fit the filter. I'm going with green from one of my Royale filter sets
00:13and immediately the medium size doesn't fit so I'm gonna have to cut it down a little bit,
00:16just a little off the end. Putting it in this now fits really well, but I think I want to add a
00:20little bit of adhesive here. This is just going to prevent the filter from sliding around and
00:24causing a bunch of little micro scratches. I'm realizing I can use this cleaning compound sort
00:28of as a suction cup to lower the scent. I'm really happy with how this looks so now I'm
00:32just going to remove the back film. A few taps for good measure and fortunately the time module
00:36fits fine even with the filter. Now we'll seal it back up. Keep in mind this is a personal watch
00:40from my collection so this isn't going to a customer. It's a little well worn but good
00:43to experiment on. How do you think it turned out?
