00:00The three airport security personnel who were involved in the Tanimbala Incident on March 6 were arrested by the Transportation Department.

00:09According to DOTR Secretary Vince Dizon, an administrative case is being prepared against them.

00:23DOT and three security personnel from the Office of Transportation were arrested in Naia Terminal 3.

00:34This is related to the incident where a senior citizen was accused of carrying a gun inside Naia.

00:45This post went viral on social media where a 69-year-old woman and her family were arrested by the security personnel of the OTS for physical inspection of a gun.

01:00Based on the initial investigation by DOTR, when the senior citizen passed through the X-ray scanner and boarded the airplane,

01:07they were chased by security personnel for physical inspection because they saw someone carrying a gun in their luggage.

01:16They did not see a gun and the children were almost left on the flight because of the incident.

01:22Because of this, the issue of gun possession in Naia was raised. The Senate also condemned the incident.

01:28According to the Senate, the authorities should not overlook the incident, especially since it can cause trauma to passengers.

01:36That's why in the press briefing of DOTR earlier, DOTR announced the termination of three security personnel.

01:44...this sort of behavior against our citizens. So we are hereby announcing the termination of all the people in the OTS who were involved in this incident.

01:59According to DOTR, not only the senior citizen was stopped by three security personnel, but also the group of passengers on the flight.

02:11But no bullet was retrieved from the group of passengers.

02:15The investigation of the incident is still ongoing.
