00:08$33 million contract according to multiple reports.

00:12It's a contract that is really similar to what he agreed to in 2021 when he signed a

00:16three-year $30 million deal.

00:19And this to me is about raising the floor of a defensive front that needed stability.

00:25BJ Hill has brought it over the past three years, playing at least 70% of the defensive

00:30snaps.

00:31He's played in at least 15 games in each of his four seasons with the Bengals and will

00:36be under contract now through his age 32 season.

00:40So they're paying him for age 30, 31 and 32.

00:43It lines up, makes a ton of sense.

00:45They also need more pass rush and an interior pass rusher alongside BJ Hill is a must in

00:50free agency.
