A new chapter in Delhi’s tourism is set to begin as the Yamuna cruise project gets official clearance. The cruise will operate between Sonia Vihar and Jagatpur, with an MoU being signed today in the presence of Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, Delhi LG V.K. Saxena, and CM Rekha Gupta. The initiative aims to boost tourism and improve the Yamuna River’s cleanliness. Multiple agencies, including the DDA, Delhi Jal Board, and the tourism department, are collaborating on the project. With plans to fast-track its implementation, the cruise is expected to offer a unique leisure experience to Delhi residents while enhancing the city's riverfront appeal.
