“Delhi to be made disaster-free & filth-free”, says Delhi Environment Minister Manjinder Singh

New Delhi, April 17, 2025(ANI): Forest and Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa claimed that their government is committed towards cleaning and making Delhi disaster-free.He stated, "PM Modi has promised clean water and clean air to Delhi. Delhi has to be made disaster-free and filth-free. These mountains of garbage are a threat to Delhi. The work to eliminate them has begun. Today, we have instructed MCD that the speed of work has to be doubled. A new agency will be appointed and we will monitor the timeline ourselves.... If compliance is not ensured, the department will impose a huge penalty on them..."
