Join Sands Films Music Room for a LIVE performance by OSMAN TACK: An Evening of Beethoven and Chopin.
Osman has been playing the piano since the age of seven and has participated in many music festivals and competitions, where he has earned numerous prizes and distinctions. He has been awarded the Chandos Young Musician of the Year, is a winner of the Pro-Corda national chamber music competition and was a finalist in the Emanuel Trophy Piano Competition and the Oxford Philomusica concerto competition. Osman has performed several concertos by Beethoven, Saint-Saëns, Mendelssohn and Schumann, as well as playing the solo in Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue. He regularly gives recitals covering a wide range of repetoire and has performed in prestigious locations around London, Oxford, Greece and Florence. He has accompanied many soloists, singers, dancers and choirs, and enjoys playing in orchestras and chamber groups. He has a degree and PhD from St John’s College, Oxford, where he held the John Heath Piano Scholarship. Having been a long-time student of Ian Jones, Osman is now studying at the Royal College of Music in London with Danny Driver and Sofya Gulyak.
