00:00Yeah, it's amazing because that's kind of part of the platform that you have at this point in your career is
00:08understanding you have to give back. And so for me, it's been kind of an honor to be able to have so many camps and clinics and
00:15providing younger kids the
00:18mentor that they can look up to and see in real life and hope and dream of
00:23accomplishing whatever it is that they want to do. So it's been an awesome opportunity and one that I definitely don't take for granted.
00:29You first visited Manila in 2018 as a collegiate student-athlete. From the time then until now, has your career played out the way that you'd hoped, the way that you'd expected?
00:40Yeah, I mean, I don't think I really had any expectations on
00:44what my career would look like from 2018 to where I'm at now.
00:49Obviously something that you can never really dream of or
00:53you know, really think about. For me, it's been really exciting to see that's not that long ago and to be able to see how
00:59much has changed from then and
01:01being, you know, back here in Manila is really exciting.
01:05Obviously, just being around the fans and seeing how much the game has grown is something that you actually have to see in person.
01:12So it's been a blessing to be here.
01:14It's not that far from when you were last year and you're still quite early in your WNBA career,
01:21but already there seems to be like this next generation that's coming up. What can you say about that new wave of talent?
01:27Yeah, it's exciting. I mean, I think
01:30every year there's a new kind of generation of athletes that
01:34kind of step into a professional level and are able to impact and change the game, bring new fans to the game
01:40and grow the game.
01:41And I think that's the fun part about playing a professional league is the older players
01:45pave the way for the younger players to come in and kind of do their part and, you know, impact the next generation of athletes.
01:51And so it's been fun to kind of be a part of that and see that and obviously a really fast-growing league.
