00:00He's playing like he lives with a fourth-in-one mindset, and I think probably his best quality
00:10that he had as a player is he was a multiplier.
00:14He just made everybody around him better through how he led, his focus, his intensity, his
00:21passion for the game, and, again, he wouldn't be afraid to call a brother out.
00:30But probably his best quality is he would call them up.
00:33But he's a doer, and he's a worker, and he has a relentlessness that, man, it's hard
00:40to put a value on.
00:42So did you see it right away?
00:44I hadn't realized that he is the son of the Atlanta Falcon, Ring of Honor linebacker Jesse
00:50Tuggle.
00:51So we're talking about some lineage, so you saw it right away probably, Coach.
00:56Yeah, you know, without question, you know, he's one of the first players I met when I
01:02went to Clemson.
01:03He was a freshman, and he just came up to me, wanted to reassure me, all barrel-chested,
01:09and said, hey, man, we got you, all right?
01:13We got you.
01:14And that's how it was.
01:16It was player-led.
01:17Grady just is amazing.
01:19But he was a state champion wrestler down in South Georgia, as tough as they come.
01:27I love guys that are wrestlers that, you know, if anybody knows what it's like to stand in
01:34the ring and nobody's going to come save you, it's all about you.
01:37And it's Grady Jarrett and his wrestlers.
01:41And so he's just got some special qualities to him, certainly.
01:45His dad was one of the best to ever do it.
01:49I mean, he just, he's wired different.
01:52And his mama, she's the absolute best.
01:56Miss Lisa, she was at every practice on every Thursday while Grady was at Clemson.
02:04And she wasn't there to hug his neck.
02:05She was there to tell him what he wasn't doing right.
02:08And so, best mama you could have.
