00:00The number of cases of dengue in the month of February has decreased compared to last January, according to the Department of Health or DOH.

00:22Angelica, according to the DOH, the number of cases of dengue has decreased compared to last week.

00:31According to the DOH, more than 14,000 cases of dengue were reported from February 2 to February 15, 2025.

00:39That is lower than 10% of the reported dengue cases from January 1 to February 1.

00:46The most reported cases are from Calabarzon, which has more than 12,000 cases, followed by the National Capital Region and Central Luzon.

00:54The most cases of dengue are from Pawang Mga Bata, which is 14 years below.

00:59The case fatality rate remains lower this year, at 0.35% compared to 0.42% last year.

01:09Although the number of new dengue cases has decreased, the government expects that the number of cases of dengue in the country may increase when it rains.
