Opening on Friday, April 11, the ‘Essence of the Coast’ art exhibition at Oriel Q Gallery in Narberth features works by painter Kate Kelly and ceramicist Christian Miller, both inspired by nature.
Kate’s paintings delve into the intricate dance between coastal edges, weather and the ever-shifting spaces that define the rugged beauty of our Pembrokeshire coast. Hers is an intimate reflection of her journey along the shoreline.
Christian, through the exquisite organic forms he makes in clay, focuses specifically on Gower’s geological formations, whilst also incorporating driftwood in some pieces, and using seashells in his firing process.
The exhibition is open Wednesday to Saturday, 10am-4pm until Saturday May 10. All are welcome to meet the artists on Saturday, April 12, 4-7pm.
