00:00A fire broke out in a compound in Malabon earlier this morning.

00:04Several residents were trapped in the fire, including a child and a person with disability.

00:09Live from Malabon, we have the first news.

00:17Until now, the situation of the four people who were found earlier after being trapped in the fire

00:24that broke out here in Barangay Longos, Malabon earlier this morning.

00:29A fire broke out that woke several families in Longos, Malabon at 3 a.m. earlier this morning.

00:39The first alarm was raised at 4 a.m.

00:43and the BFP under control declared that almost an hour had passed.

00:47According to the BFP, not less than six families were affected by the fire

00:52that broke out in a compound with two floors and made of light materials.

00:57Some of the people who were trapped in the fire were forced to leave and almost nothing was left.

01:03One family here was not able to stop the pouring of tears.

01:07They have four children who were trapped in the fire and are still looking for them until now,

01:14including a nine-year-old child and a person with disability.

01:19When we woke up, we ran.

01:24Four of us were lost.

01:27We got a towel and put it on us because the fire was so fierce.

01:32It started from the top and we were forced to go out.

01:37I didn't know that they weren't able to follow us.

01:39Mayleen's mother was about to go to work when a big fire broke out in front of her.

01:45I saw the fire.

01:47I really saw my children.

01:50But my cousins were still there.

01:53Firefighters and fire volunteers were challenged to reduce the fire

01:57and find the four people who were lost because of the live wire in the area.

02:06One of the challenges of reducing the fire

02:10is that it is a very narrow path to get out of the fire.

02:17The fire department is still checking the fire and confirming if anyone was injured.
