00:09Blackpool driving instructor Jason Eastwood guilty of sex assaults after preying on learner drivers.
00:15A driving instructor in Blackpool has been found guilty of sexually assaulting young learner drivers.
00:23Jason Eastwood, 54, of Newton Drive, Blackpool, was convicted at Preston Magistrates Court on Friday March 7th.
00:31He was accused of preying on young women while driving alone with them on lessons around the resort in his distinctive yellow Audi.
00:39Eastwood, formerly of Teal Court, Blackpool, denied the offences but was found guilty of sexual assault during his trial in Preston last week.
00:50He is due to be sentenced at Preston Crank Courts on April 30th, 2025.

01:04Doctor Eno Umatom has been a local at Blackpool Victoria Hospital for more than two years.
01:12When on December 30th, 2022, she was stopped by a police officer on suspicion of driving a black Mini Cooper in excess of 70 mph speed limit on the M55 and failing to stop at a red traffic light.
01:26Despite the fact she was on her way to work, she claimed she was on her way to visit a sick relative and claimed to be someone else giving a false name and date of birth.
01:35At the time, Doctor Umatom was also disqualified from driving.
01:40At the beginning of January 2023, Doctor Umatom left a message with the police officer's control room still purporting to be someone else and asking if the matter could be resolved without court proceedings.
01:52On January 19th, 2023, Doctor Umatom was stopped again by the same PC on Preston New Road, Blackpool.
02:00By the time Doctor Umatom's original disqualification had been listed, she had accepted that she had obstructed the PC by giving her false details and the first time she was stopped.
