00:00Hello there, good morning. It's another cold and quite frosty start across parts of the
00:05south and southeast. That's where we saw the clearest of skies overnight. More cloud elsewhere
00:10but it is still going to be a chilly start and a chilly day ahead too. Still plenty of
00:14showers feeding in from the North Sea coasts. The odd one could be heavy and still bringing
00:19in some snow across hills for the Scottish Highlands, the Pennines, even later on across
00:23parts of the Welsh Hills. In between those showers though, plenty of bright and sunny
00:28spells. Lighter winds than what we had earlier in the week so it's not going to be feeling
00:32quite as chilly but temperatures are still widely just below average for the time of
00:36year. Highs of around 8 to 9 Celsius. Through the course of the evening we'll see showers
00:42largely ease away, becoming largely confined to North Sea coasts once again and it's going
00:46to be another cold and frosty night ahead. But this time we see a bit of a flip. The
00:50clearest of skies across Scotland, Northern Ireland, northern parts of England and Wales
00:55too. So quite a widespread frost here and we could still see some patchy frost across
00:59central and southern parts but a bit more cloud compared to what we saw last night.
01:05So a cold start, still some showers yes but nowhere near as many as what we've seen earlier
01:10in the week. They're going to be largely isolated and many are actually going to see a fine
01:14day ahead. Some sunshine in the morning but turning cloudier as we head through into the
01:19afternoon. Still the odd shower skirting northern coasts of Scotland. Perhaps a few more blue
01:24skies across parts of East Anglia, Sussex and Kent. And temperatures fairly similar,
01:29perhaps a notch higher in some places. Highs of around 9 to 10 Celsius. Then for the rest
01:35of the week, well we have high pressure sticking around on Sunday so still once again largely
01:40dry but we do still remain in this cold pool of air so it is going to be remaining fairly
01:44chilly still with a chance of some patchy frost. Then this area of high pressure as
01:48we head into next week, well it shifts its way eastwards but that does allow a change
01:52in wind direction so rather than getting our winds from the north we start to see a bit
01:56more of a southerly flow so something milder coming in as we head into next week. But towards
02:00the end of the week that might just mean a chance of a bit more cloud and possibly some
02:04rain. Bye bye.
