00:00On Saturday afternoon the Swedish stages delivered more relentless drama as
00:06drivers battled the unforgiving snow and ice. After his earlier issues Adrien
00:11Formeau had been on a flyer. Trying to make up lost time he won stage 12 only
00:18to push the limit too far on stage 13. Misjudging a snowbank and well and truly
00:24beaching his Hyundai i20. Saturday was over for the Frenchman. There was no such
00:31problem for Albin Evans who proceeded to put in some great precision driving. The
00:37Welshman accumulated two more stage wins and will now be looking for his second
00:42Rally Sweden victory. Six seconds behind is Takamoto Katsuta who despite not
00:49having done the second loop of these stages last year maintained his
00:53consistency from the morning to make it a good day for Toyota as they look to
00:59lock out the top two. Thierry Nerville certainly has found the sweet spot on
01:05his Hyundai i20. Taking a stage win on 14 and outpacing Katsuta by a second to
01:13solidify his move into the podium places. He's in fact. Eutanak drops out of the
01:20podium places just. Some errant coolant liquid had been spraying onto his windscreen
01:26in the afternoon and this caused some distraction for the Estonian. He's down
01:30to fourth. Four seconds behind teammate Nerville. Unfortunately for Formeau he
01:36drops back. Evans maintains the lead. Kalarov Ampera is up to fifth and the
01:41leading M-Sport is Martin Cesc's in sixth.
