00:00I've only been in one as an Uber and I mean it was interesting but I think there's a bit of hype.
00:06So if you look at the actual numbers of the minerals needed to actually create all the
00:09EVs we need it doesn't add up so they're a good idea and for some applications but
00:14we'll see long term if it really holds up. Plan your trips never leave it till kind of 30 miles
00:20before you need to charge because it's a disaster. I've been on loads of journeys where you've
00:24literally got to a charger and it just isn't working the infrastructure has still got a long
00:29way to go although it has improved much a lot rather over the the last few months that I've
00:34been using my car so just plan plan plan. I've done a bare minimal research into it but I think
00:40from what I've looked into it's not cost effective as petrol these days I think the cost of
00:44electricity outweighs the cost of petrol so the incentive is gone. Obviously if you're from
00:49London you're sort of forced into it with the ULEZ compliancy and all these sort of congestion
00:54charges so in Leeds I don't think it's the best bet because it's just not cost effective.
