01:16Excuse me in the Ivy League the one thing that you find is interesting is Cornell is top 20 in the country and adjusted
01:22Tempo and also fires from three-point range making it at a thirty nine point three percent clip as a team
01:28Maybe it's one of those teams where you play with that adjusted tempo you play with that fire from the three-point range and you're able
01:33To knock them off, but just going over some numbers
01:35I believe Yale also beat Cornell twice this season
01:38So the matchup not as great as it is on paper when they do play it out on the court
01:43but we've seen crazier things happen by the way this tournament who is hosting like who has the
01:49Where the games at I believe they're neutral side, I think they're oh, yes

03:27So you would have to really beat Yale to get to a point in that conference tourney title game

07:34Including at the buzzer in the rivalry showdown on Saturday in OT
07:39Against the Crimson Tide, Florida eight and a half point favorite against, Missouri
07:43Alabama five and a half point favorite against Kentucky story of that game though
07:47Not the spread but the total and over under of 179 and a hook and can Texas keep its March
07:54Momentum rolling now fully healthy taking on Tennessee the Volunteers favored by nine and a half points

09:24Header we have on quarterfinal Friday in Nashville Auburn laying six and a half in the opening half minus

09:39But a tight game against Arkansas Sean Padula winning it near the buzzer for the running Rebs
09:44But Donnie, I really believe in this Bruce Pearl team. I really believe in what Auburn can do
09:49I think Auburn will be there come final four weekend in San Antonio
09:53Just about three weeks from now and I really do believe the Tigers have a terrible taste in their mouth
09:59With how the final week of the regular season and they were a top the nation ranked number one in the country for eight
10:06Consecutive weeks before this last eight people that came out on Monday afternoon
10:11They dropped a tough road game against A&M felt like a trappy spot
10:15it was and then of course an overtime thriller, but against the bitter rivals in
10:20Alabama Auburn is still a one-seat Auburn clinched the regular season crowd around the SEC
10:25Entering the final week of action. I think they're out here to say listen. We're still the best team in this conference

10:33We're gonna make a statement early on from the jump. I'd lay the six and a half with Auburn in the opening half
10:38Yeah, it's interesting because again, we're in unfamiliar formats due to the regular season what we anticipate like
10:44Hey teams two teams play on a Tuesday to play on a Friday, maybe on a Sunday at that point
10:48I always like to say you have the advantage for a basketball team when you played the day before in that same arena
10:54It's all Mississippi yesterday picking up the W over Arkansas where they have confidence coming in
10:59So now have Auburn who's been off for a little bit of time has not played on this court and it's gonna catch a team
11:04That just played yesterday
11:05so these are always the games that I look at with maybe a little bit more of a slant by saying all right the
11:10Eleven and a half does make some sense
11:11and also we're not playing for style points where even if it's in like a
11:15An Olympic setting where it's like hey, you know
11:17When the tiebreakers get to then the championship game in the conference is point
11:21Differential where you want to run it up as high as you can Auburn wins by five points there. They're happy
11:25They're moving on fantastic, you know avoided that lost Ole Miss. Let's play another day. And also hopefully we don't have any injuries here
11:31So that line is almost that number eleven and a half
11:33I don't know if I want to jump in because Auburn's the better basketball team
11:36Auburn should win this game the favorite by double digits of the number one team in the country
11:39We get that but I get a little bit nervous about that. We played yesterday. You didn't play yet
11:44We won sort of scenario. See how it plays out today
11:48March is about momentum. We know that we'll see that in the NCAA tournament starting next week
11:52A day off in between games if you do what the calling card is survive in advance here. It's each and every day
11:59So if you've already played you get your sea legs wet to say and to use that saying it could help you you could prevail
12:06You know what the sight lines are like, you know what that floor and atmosphere is like the old rust versus rest debate that we might see
12:13I just believe in Auburn being prepared being ready to go and trying to prove once again that hey
12:19We're ready to go from the jump because we believe we are the best team in the country

12:25I think there's a lot of national championship bets that you could make I think Auburn will be in the final four heck
12:30I think Duke with a healthy Cooper flag should be there as well. I really believe in this Florida team
12:35They're laying eight and a half points today against, Missouri
12:37Love the total one sixty one and a half Mizzou has been such a good over team
12:42Florida over in its final five regular season games as well really prolific
12:47Offensively, but Donnie this Gators team the best cover team in the SEC throughout the conference slate
12:53They won nine of their final ten the only hiccup on the road
12:57against Georgia in all nine of those wins for UF a cover including
13:03Potentially the best pair of wins anybody in college basketball has this year a road sweep in
13:10Tuscaloosa over Alabama on the plains over Auburn as well
13:15Yeah, another one of those games were played yesterday nice quality victory gonna go up in competition
13:20So the vibe certainly will be there the atmosphere is probably gonna be tremendous in Nashville, but we look at Florida's offense
13:25It's very good. Sometimes you look at the defensive profile the team from Missouri who's not bad, but not great
13:30They're built on turning you over eighteen and a half percent of the possessions that Missouri plays on defense
13:35They turn you over which is great
13:37But number three in conference play out of 16 teams that not turning it over is Florida
13:40so when you're used to playing on defense where you're not that efficient from the three-point line of the two and you rely on
13:45Turnovers with a team that won't turn the basketball over and rebounds extremely
13:49Well, you find yourself in a little bit of trouble
13:52The one thing though that Missouri does well best team batting conference play at getting to the free throw line
13:56They're number one. So maybe you can get Florida in foul trouble, but it's easier said than done
14:01Hey, they got a big man. Just get him in foul trouble
14:03Well, the big man understands how to stay out of foul trouble you get that
14:06So we'll see if Missouri can take advantage of that
14:08but Florida does have some advantages the one advantage they don't have is they're
14:12Terrible from the free throw line as a teen and when they're gonna cover close to double digits sometime that creeps in late in the game
14:19yeah, there's no doubt about it DRS again the story for Alabama and Kentucky a total at
14:25179 and a half in a final game in February or one of their final few in February
14:31Alabama at home beat Kentucky by 13 covered as a 12-point favorite
14:3696 83 how many points is that?
14:40179 the total had ballooned all day Friday night into Saturday evening
14:45I remember talking about that game DRS and I think Ken Palm had the prediction of a hundred and seventy seven points
14:50We expected a total in the upper 170s
14:52It got to 181 and a hook and barely stayed under with a hundred and seventy nine total points
14:59179 and a half is that total today in Alabama doesn't play games that have a total of 145
15:06155 and a half or so they play games in the 160s 170s heck even in the low
15:13180s and they have still gone over in six of their last eight
15:17I don't know if you're paying the premium to bet the over of 179 and a half
15:22I wouldn't be rushing to the window to lay an under bed on that as well
15:26Yeah, now you're right about that because they were gonna get tempo in this game. You're gonna get to feel good vibes here
15:31We understand the stakes of this game, but good luck on that like me yesterday looking at that, Illinois, Iowa game going
15:37You know what Illinois defense isn't that great, but they're gonna force. I would do some things. I don't want to do within five minutes
15:43I knew that game was absolutely blown out the doors where I was gonna be cooking on offense from the three-point line
15:48They were dominating but I have that effect where
15:50179 and a half most people say just take the under and see where it goes until that game is
15:561514 at the first time out you like I know exactly where this game is gonna wind up
16:01That's gonna be a great game two teams that aren't gonna play a lot of defense
16:04But I do give the edge to Alabama. I think Alabama wins that game Ben and covers in that game
16:09Yeah, I think so as well, Texas and Tennessee an intriguing one the Longhorns playing great basketball
16:16Right now they have one outright as a dog in both of their games in Nashville
16:21Including the overtime double overtime filler yesterday against a and M, but now they get a very stout volunteers team

17:35Quarterfinal Friday at the big 10 tournament, which one do you like the most?
17:39Like I'm probably more comfortable winning. Let's just forget about the spreads itself would be Michigan State
17:44Not just because it's the highest line
17:45I just have the trust in where they don't fall behind the guy

17:49Well, they do a lot of things great and if they are shooting the ball, well, good luck
17:52You're not going to beat them

17:53Look at the higher seeds out here and look at the price points here Maryland minus one and a half

18:00UCLA plus one and a half shows you the depth of this conference and also given the ability where most people in most sports

18:08Well, a lot of these teams are rested here and I don't think they have the advantage like for me
18:12That's streaking, Illinois team where you're now starting to see what we thought they would be at the beginning of the season

18:19You don't think those vibes are good coming in playing a Maryland team that they're gonna be
18:22Hopefully having that same offensive output you take a look at Purdue
18:25Equally impressive to knock down the three-point shot held off the team last night's and okay didn't play our best basketball
18:31But now we have a game under our bill in this building and we take on Michigan the next day
18:35So for me, I'm looking towards the lower seeded teams
18:37Like if you look at that roster right there, Oregon, Illinois, Purdue, Wisconsin
18:41He said Donnie had to take the higher seeds or the lower seeds
18:44I'm actually taking the higher seeds in this tournament
18:47Give me eight seven six and five to have at least a 500 record or better winning out today. How about that?

18:58I think Illinois is making some noise because this is not just an Illini team getting hot at the right time
19:04It's an Illini team that has been highly talented all year long and adds back for res

19:13But as Brad Underwood the head coach in Champaign would tell you they're not trying to force turnovers
19:18They're just trying to stay in front of you and play sound defense
19:21So you add back one of your bigs in Merez Johnson jr
19:24Kylan Boswell a career-best 24 points last night for Illinois and taking nothing away from Maryland the crap five is
19:33Sensational and it should be a good game, but the Illini not just playing like the seven seed in their own
19:39Conference turning Purdue the higher seed but Purdue in a much better form of basketball right now than Michigan
19:45I think there are some questions the RS or the maize and blue just in a bad spell
19:49Or is this the Wolverines team that maybe the luck has kind of caught up with them
19:54They had played in 15 games
19:56Decided by four points or fewer before this three-game slide
20:00They had won 10 of 15 including nine consecutive wins by four points or fewer
20:05They have not looked good the last three
20:08Is that the true representation of Michigan or are they just playing some bad basketball and can snap out of it in?
20:14Indianapolis and again, Wisconsin's a slight favorite in that matchup against UCLA
20:19Yeah, and again get back to Michigan's team here
20:22You're entering into a game where they haven't played yet in that facility
20:2414 out of 18 teams in the Big Ten at being offensively efficient
20:28They turn the basketball over a ton Purdue turns you over and understand this Michigan shoots a lot of three-point shots
20:34There's 17 that 18 teams at making the three-point shot and Purdue will let you shoot a lot of those three-point shots
20:39But defend it. Well, I don't think it's a great matchup per se for Michigan. Maybe be a little bit different
20:44Okay, Michigan played yesterday shot well from the three-point line
20:47We expect that today but first game on a court where you're built on shooting the three-point shot and already don't shoot a high percentage
20:53Where do you typically shoot better at then in your home gym?
20:56We're used to the shooting lines and we're used to playing now
20:59You're in the big stage here a lot of pressure for a team that's already played on that court
21:03I really like Purdue today against Michigan not to say Michigan's not a good ballclub
21:06Just the matchup itself really efficient offensive one side that played yesterday
21:11Inefficient offense that is getting its first look today in Indianapolis
21:15There is also an idea DRS that Michigan State could be picked off despite being dominant throughout the regular season

22:55Working its way in favor of the heels now just a seven and a half point spread in favor of Duke that total

25:43Here are the stakes do try to win a tournament title after an outright ACC crown their first under John Shire
25:50Great Duke also understanding. They've got bigger fish to fry. They've got a much higher ceiling to try to reach
25:58there's still a seven and a half point favorite against UNC even without the services of
26:03Cooper flag and kind of under the radar because of the notable and significant injury to flag
26:09Malik Brown who has dealt with some injuries was back healthy for Duke provides a lot of veteran guidance in that
26:16Front court for UNC DRS win and they might be in to the big dance. It is a golden
26:24Opportunity it was going to be difficult
26:26Against a fully healthy Duke team to knock off the Blue Devils tonight to garner that second quad one win
26:33This is your time to do it. Yes, you are still a seven and a half point underdog
26:38But if Carolina wants to go dancing, it's a must win tonight in Charlotte
26:43And also you are looking at those numbers up there and saying this is correct
26:47Like you see the seven and a half weight without the best player. It's easy on Carolina
