00:00The Vatican released the first photograph of Pope Francis since his hospitalization
00:06just over a month ago.
00:09The pontiff was pictured in a view from behind wearing a purple stole typical of Lenten liturgical
00:14vestments.
00:16Francis was sat down in a wheelchair facing an altar at the Gemelli Hospital Chapel in
00:21Rome.
00:23The Vatican says the 88-year-old pontiff was celebrating Mass with other priests.
00:28The Pope was hospitalized on the 14th of February after a week-long bout with bronchitis quickly
00:33turned into double pneumonia.
00:35Supporters have been visiting the Rome hospital where he's at to pray for his recovery.
00:41On Sunday, a group of dancers gathered at the hospital to dance the tango for the Pope.
00:47The dancers say they wanted to make the Argentine pontiff feel the energy of the tango.
00:52I'll never forget it.
00:54I remember getting close to him and telling him, Holy Father, can I give you a tango hug?
00:59And he said to me, I'd love to dance a tango with you.
01:04And I died.
01:05When he said that to me, I said...
01:08It's a wonderful feeling to know that he's Argentine and that he loves tango as we tango-lovers do.
01:15It's a wonderful thing and I think we deserve to give him our energy.
01:21Last week, doctors overseeing Francis' treatment said he was no longer in critical condition,
01:26but underlined that it remained complex.
01:29They say the Pope's age, lack of mobility, and the loss of part of a lung as a young man
01:34still pose concerns warranting constant monitoring.
01:37They also confirmed that an x-ray revealed that his respiratory infection was clearing,
01:42but added that he was still requiring high-flow supplemental oxygen.
