00:14The campaign manager of the Alliance for a New Philippines, voted by City Representative Toby Chanco,

00:21will continue to draw the attention of their voters in the Hatol ng Bayan 2025

00:26on the needs of Filipinos and the development of the country.

00:31At the press conference of the group in Tacloban City, Salite,

00:34the speaker was asked about the arrest of former President Rodrigo Duterte,

00:39who is now imprisoned in the detention center of the International Criminal Court.

00:43Chanco said, although this issue is hot,

00:46they will continue to travel around the country and contribute to our fellow Filipinos.

00:52The Alliance continues to focus on the daily needs of our fellow Filipinos,

00:58such as jobs and livelihood.

01:02So that is what the Alliance is explaining and that is what we are focusing on.

01:07We should not lose our focus because those are the needs that should be resolved

01:12to improve the lives of our fellow Filipinos.

01:15The Alliance's Senatorial Candidate Abby Binay, on the upcoming election,

01:19hopes that the voters will not only look at the color of politics,

01:22but above all, the capacity and qualification of a candidate.

01:27Yes, we are part of the administration, but we are individuals in a group.

01:34So I hope that the voters, we're not talking about if you're pro-Marcos or pro-Duterte,

01:43if you're pink, if you're yellow, if you're green, if you're red.

01:47At the end of the day, what we want, and Sen. Erwin is right,

01:53what can we give to our fellow Filipinos?

01:59Now that experts have different opinions on the issue,

02:02the Alliance's Candidate hopes that justice will be served.

02:06Only time will tell.

02:13Only then will we know if it's right or wrong when the time comes.

02:18I would have to personally commend our embassy in The Hague for the efforts done

02:25and for following the mandate of the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations

02:32by providing the necessary assistance to President Duterte.

02:37On the question of whether it's time for the Philippines to return to the ICC,

02:41Congressman Erwin Tulfo said,

02:43Definitely, there should be public consultation.

02:47To start with, our district, lawmakers, senators,

02:54before we have to talk about it, tackle it,

02:58so we can hear the clamor of the public.

03:01Who wants it, who doesn't, so that we would know.

03:05The Alliance for a New Philippines is currently in Tacloban City in Leyte
