00:00Good news for commuters, because MRT 3's operating hours on weekday evening were extended to an hour

00:07starting today, March 24, to accommodate the increased number of passengers, while additional

00:13trains will also be deployed during peak hours for a smoother and more efficient commute.

00:19Meanwhile, motorists traveling northbound from Balintawak to Mekawayan will enjoy temporary

00:25toll-free access to the North Zone Expressway or the NLEX as the company waived toll fees

00:43In our business news, MRT 3's operating hours on weekday evening were extended to an hour

00:49starting today, March 24. According to the Department of Transportation, to ensure faster

00:55travel for commuters, additional trains will be deployed during peak hours. MRT 3 stations depart

01:02at 4.30 a.m. and 5.05 a.m. respectively. The extended operating hours were implemented after

01:10the OTR Secretary Vince Dizon's inspection of the Taft, Ayala, and Shaw stations on March 17.

01:18North Avenue station's entrance closes at 10.25 p.m. for southbound trips, while Taft Avenue

01:25station closes at 11.04 p.m. for northbound. Meanwhile, effective this Monday noon, NLEX

01:32Corporation will temporarily waive toll fees for motorists traveling northbound from Balintawak

01:40to Mekawayan. This is in response to an earlier request from Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon

01:45to waive toll fees during repairs after an 18-wheeler tanker caused severe damage on the

01:52Marilao Bridge. NLEX Corporation stated that changes in traffic flow have been made to support

01:58ongoing repairs and to ensure motorists' safety. Toll relief will remain in effect until the four

02:06lanes on northbound area are fully reopened. In other news, all prices will increase in the last

02:12week of March. Effective on Tuesday, March 25, 6 a.m., Shell Pilipinas, Caltex, and Sea Oil will

02:19implement gasoline increase of P1.10 per liter, while kerosene and diesel will go up by P40 per

02:27liter. Clean fuels price hikes will take effect at 4.01 p.m., with gasoline increasing by P1.10

02:36and diesel by P40 per liter. Assistant Director Rodela Romero of the DOE Oil Industry Management
