00:00What we're trying to do is make sure that the seniors have a safe location to shop because
00:27it becomes a madhouse after a certain time.
00:29So the first hour we've given to them as seniors only.
00:33We try and have the store spotless before they come in.
00:36They are the target of this virus and so we're trying to work as strong as we can.
00:59What we do is people are able to submit requests online for grocery delivery, pharmaceutical
01:16deliveries, whatever it is that they need from outside if they don't want to go out.
01:20And we send a volunteer to pick it up for them.
01:21We make sure to minimize physical contact so all money is slid under the door, the groceries
01:25are left outside, they're sanitized before they're left.
01:29But we also want to keep that social aspect so we have volunteers call the people, check
01:33in with them, confirm their order and then say, hey, how's your day going?
01:36How are you doing?
01:37I think what's extraordinary about what you're doing, Liam, is that it's focusing on really
01:43neighbor to neighbor.
01:45And I think that unfortunately a crisis like this very often brings out the very best.
02:01I can't shake your hand, but I like to, am I?
02:04You're not allowed to, no.
02:06So tell me, you spent your pocket money on all of this?
02:09Yes.
02:10How much did it cost you?
02:12About a fortune.
02:30How did you come up with this idea?
02:41We were not allowed to visit the senior citizens in the beginning of the year.
02:48Of course, if you don't let them visit, the senior citizens will be a little unhappy.
02:53This machine has a viewing function so that relatives can communicate face-to-face without
03:00having to be in front of them.
03:11Happy birthday, dear Wendy!
03:15Happy birthday to you!
03:19You can't go inside to see her because she's quarantined in.
03:37Oh, I think my daughter Annette, too.
03:39They're all there.
03:40Yeah.
03:41Yeah.
