00:00The lives of four Filipinos who are missing in Myanmar were brought back to life
00:06following a landslide there.
00:08The first batch of rescuers was already there,
00:11which was sent by the Philippines.
00:13Jonathan Anda was there.
00:19This condominium building in Mandalay, Myanmar,
00:24where the four missing Filipino teachers were living,
00:28was visited by a relative of Edsil and Alexis Adalid,
00:32the place in the condominium where their belongings were found.
00:35Hopefully, the rescuers who were sent by the Philippine government will go there soon.
00:41Until this afternoon, no new information was obtained from their families.
00:45The children of teachers Francis Argon and Barin Barcelo were also there.
00:49But they cling to miracles and hope.
00:54You're alive, brother. You're alive.
00:57Because you're still young. You have a lot of skills.
01:01My son, I'm not ready to lose him.
01:07I really pray to the Lord that he's alive and that this is just a trial.
01:13We miss you so much.
01:16We just want to know where you are, if you're okay.
01:21Are you eating?
01:23Is someone taking care of you there?
01:26We still hope for the Lord.
01:29Earlier, the first batch of Filipino medical and rescue teams arrived in Myanmar.
01:33Two of them were on the C-130 plane.
01:35Ninety-one were deployed from the special rescue units of the Air Force, Army, MMDA, BFP, and private sector.
01:42Some of them also helped in the earthquake in Turkey.
01:45This includes what we call one assay, one response.
01:50There's still time for them to be rescued.
01:52They are self-contained, well-trained.
01:55They will set up the field hospital. They will set up logistics.
01:59The hope of the children of missing Filipinos was revived.
02:02They will not go home until they see the missing ones.
02:08My heart is at ease because they promised that everything is coordinated in the assay.
02:14No matter what, we still hope that they will still be able to survive.
02:21We hope that they will not be retrieved if they are not rescued.
02:27The Department of Migrant Workers and other Filipinos in Myanmar also promised to help.
02:33We're ready to provide financial assistance, not just in locating the four,
02:37but for any other OFW on the ground who may need any form of assistance,
02:42medical or any other form of assistance in Myanmar.
02:45For GMA Integrated News, Jonathan Andal.
