00:07The administration is also continuously working to increase the number of investors in the country.

00:18The administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. insisted that the continued delivery of programs

00:25aimed at providing sufficient food to the poorest of Filipinos,

00:31who are among the 300,000 households, or equivalent to 1,500,000 individuals,

00:37who receive P3,000 a month for food.

00:42Aside from that, we still have the DSWD program.

00:48This is the No Hunger Project Cuisinero Cook-off Challenge

00:55to improve public nutrition.

00:58We also have the No Hunger Project that provides eligible families with electronic benefit transfer.

01:05This is P3,000 monthly food credits.

01:09The government is now studying the report of social weather stations

01:14that said that the number of people experiencing involuntary hunger or starvation and no food increased by 27.2%.

01:22Aside from financial assistance, the Department of Social Welfare and Development also established

01:28the No Hunger Kitchen that provides hot meals to low-income families in Pasay City.

01:35We will study where these people who say that other Filipinos are still hungry come from.

01:46To find out where this place is and if there will be a shortage,

01:52we will be able to address this kind of situation.

01:55The Department of Agriculture is also pushing to increase the production of food.

02:01The agency raised P21 billion for the National Rice Program.

02:07Its goal is to increase the supply of rice while lowering the price.

02:12I do not see that there is a shortage of food because we have almost most of everything,

02:19especially this March, April, May, and June.

02:21The Department of Trading Industry helped to monitor and stop the increase in the price of rice.

02:29Before, the price of rice used to rise.

02:34Now, it's really gone down to P40 to P45.

02:37Before, it was P58. Now, it's not P58.

02:41The price of rice has really gone down.

02:44The administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. will continue to make steps

02:50to encourage businessmen to move to the Philippines.

02:55The Create More Law, which provides incentives to investors in the Philippines,

03:02also implements tax refunds to foreign tourists

03:06to encourage them to visit our country and to improve our economy.

03:11We will try our best. The administration will try its best to maintain that status

03:17or to be better than that so that we can encourage more investors to invest in our country.

03:23According to the latest Business Expectations Survey of the Central Bank of the Philippines,

03:28the confidence of businessmen under the administration of President Marcos remains.

03:34From 44.5% in the last quarter of 2025,

03:38the confidence of businessmen in the second quarter of 2025 increased to 45.4%.

03:46This is a reflection of a more active economy

03:49and a 56.4% increased business outlook for the next 12 months.

03:56It is good to see that there is still a lot of trust in our government,

04:09in our administration for investors to invest in our country.

04:15This is good news.
