00:00Welcome to MissMojo, and today we're looking at some of the best insults and clapbacks
00:06uttered by our favourite live-action and animated Nick players. Expect spoilers ahead and have
00:10plenty of burn cream on standby.
00:1410. Oscar's Reality Check – Hey Arnold
00:24Arnold has been trying to help Oscar with his new newspaper carrier job.
00:27The problem is that Oscar uses every excuse in the book to get out of work, forcing Arnold
00:35to cover for him. At last, Arnold reaches his breaking point and tells Oscar what we're
00:39all thinking. Considering his reputation as the most helpful and patient kid in the neighbourhood,
00:54you know you've messed up when Arnold, of all people, calls you out. Oscar knows this
00:58too as the next day he finally shapes up and does his job all by himself. We don't expect
01:13Oscar to fully change his ways, but hopefully he now knows better than to take advantage
01:17of Arnold.
01:189. Gordy and Lisa – Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide
01:22It's a new semester at James K. Polk Middle School, and a new Lisa Zemo has captured Cookie's
01:27attention. He asks Gordy for his opinion on Lisa's new look, and Gordy gives the most
01:36blunt, real answer he can possibly give. We're not sure what Cookie was expecting when asking
01:46a grown adult his opinion on a middle schooler's attractiveness, but we have to give Gordy major
01:50props. He may be the laziest janitor in the universe, but he knows better than to go down
01:54that rabbit hole. The blunt tone in his response makes it even funnier, and hopefully teaches
02:04Cookie not to ask loaded questions.
02:078. Stu Obliterates Howard – Rugrats
02:10After a heated argument, the Pickles and DeVille parents are at each other's throats. Even
02:19their kids aren't allowed to see each other. This feud comes to a boil when they cross
02:22paths at the park, and they accuse each other of stealing their respective property. Howard
02:26states that the accusations against him and Betty are an absurd proposition, so Stu shouts
02:30the most groundbreaking, epic insult in animation history. Or maybe the most childish. The fact
02:39that he didn't even hesitate to roast Howard in such a way is nothing short of brutal.
02:44Thankfully, the two families make amends at the end, but the audience will never forget
02:47the comeback heard around the world.
02:497. Raph Meets Lord Dregg – Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
02:59Out of the Ninja Turtles, there's no doubt that Raphael is the most brutal. The only
03:02thing more vicious than his fighting prowess is his snarky clapbacks and insults. While
03:10on their space adventure, the Turtles meet the insidious insect criminal, Lord Dregg.
03:15He gives a long-winded introduction, boasting how much of a threat he is, but Raph is having
03:19none of it. He starts expressing how much he cares what Dregg has to say, but Donnie
03:23cuts him off before he can finish the thought. No one can say that Raph isn't a great diplomat,
03:34but we're not sure Dregg would have survived if he was allowed to complete his sentence.
03:396. Zim's Question – Invader Zim, Enter the Florpus
03:42In the 2019 reunion special, Zim has inadvertently opened a Florpus portal that threatens to
03:47obliterate the Earth, and the only hope to protect it is Minimoose. Dib chases Zim, ordering
03:52him to hand over the moose. Zim comments that Dib is ugly when he lies, and Dib notes that
04:02he's not lying, and Zim delivers a brutal punchline with a simple question. Even in
04:13the face of certain doom, Zim can't resist insulting his archenemy. The fact that he
04:16delivered it so naturally without skipping a beat left us choking with laughter. Even
04:21after the original show's ending, this duo's back and forth still remains a highlight of
04:25the franchise. 5. Freddy the Best Man – iCarly
04:37In a very special broadcast, Carly, Sam, and Freddy help a fan propose to his girlfriend
04:42on the web show. As a way of saying thank you, the fan invites Carly and Sam to be bridesmaids
04:46and Freddy to be his best man. As usual, Sam wastes no time putting Freddy down, this time
04:54by using clever wordplay to say why Freddy's unfit to be the best man. That's a nasty third
05:02degree burn Freddy gets, but considering all the usual ways Sam mistreats him, it could
05:07have been worse. She could have pulverized him with the butter sock.
05:104. Timmy's Dad's Dreams – The Fairly Odd Parents
05:14While helping his dad clean out the attic, Timmy discovers Mr. Turner's tiny box of dreams.
05:21Timmy accidentally knocks it over and breaks it, but Dad doesn't mind. He claims his dreams
05:25were shattered years ago. Timmy asks, how many years ago? And Mr. Turner simply asks,
05:29how old are you? Ouch. He could have just said nothing, but he decided to imply that
05:34one thing that no parent should ever say about their kid. It really doesn't help with his
05:38infamous reputation to the audience. Timmy doesn't seem that affected, but we're definitely
05:42shaken up by his response. No wonder he needed Cosmo and Wanda for so long.
05:483. Azula Dominates Ba Sing Se – Avatar The Last Airbender
05:55If one monster topples another, does that make the first one not as bad? We ponder this
05:59question as Long Feng, the treacherous advisor of Ba Sing Se, confronts the merciless Fire
06:04Princess Azula. He had been scheming alongside her to take the kingdom's throne, but she
06:15beat him to the punch. With her victory assured, she breaks him down little by little using
06:19only her words until he admits defeat. Of course, even after he yields, Azula can't
06:29resist throwing one last putdown, just to ensure that Long Feng never shows his face
06:33again. No firebending was used, yet Azula still managed to roast the biggest snake in
06:38the Earth Kingdom, and it was surprisingly cathartic.
06:442. Jade Roasts Sinjin – Victorious It's no surprise that Jade West has some
06:50of the most vicious insults in Hollywood art. What's shocking is that arguably her nastiest
06:54comeback wasn't aimed at Tori for once. During rehearsals, Sinjin accidentally turns
07:02on the disco lights, much to Jade's outrage. Sinjin quickly apologises for hitting the
07:06wrong thing, only for Jade to say that 15 years ago, his mother gave birth to the wrong
07:10thing. We admit that Sinjin can be creepy at times, but did he really deserve to be
07:20charcoaled by Jade? At least her words didn't kill his love for disco, as he later brings
07:24down the lights on purpose at least twice. Before we unveil our top pick, here are a
07:32few honourable mentions.
07:341. Shallow Paulina – Danny Phantom Sam creatively dissects Paulina's personality.
07:442. Donnie's Bait Lessons – Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
07:47The other turtle's reaction says it all.
07:553. Chef Bob Cooks – Spongebob Squarepants Does this count as Spongebob roasting himself?
08:024. Timmy's Bike – The Fairly OddParents Cosmo meant it as a compliment, but it didn't
08:10quite land.
08:115. Angelica's Still Here – Rugrats Phil basically says what the other babies
08:23are thinking.

08:451. Plankton vs. The Family – Spongebob Squarepants Plankton takes the Chum Bucket on the road
08:51and is looking for customers. He happens upon a little boy, but quickly loses patience
08:55with him. The child's family arrives, and each one gives Plankton an earful. But Plankton
09:02isn't having any of it. One by one, he insults each member of the family, each burn getting
09:07worse than the last. In the end, he saves the harshest, most scorching clapback for
09:12the grandmother.
09:16We always get a kick out of Plankton's anger, but we didn't expect him to verbally destroy
09:21an entire family without pulling any punches. While Plankton won the battle with his words,
09:25the family won the war as the townsfolk helped them teach him some manners.
09:35What clapback shocked you the most? Let us know in the comments.
