Transcript
00:00Each of us is looking for something higher than the highest, therefore an IIT is not
00:07sufficient.
00:08In your college, sir said, you think you would have been better off had you cracked the JEE
00:13and been in an IIT.
00:14Let me tell you, it's no different with IITians.
00:18They too think that they could have done much better than where they are.
00:23Somebody is not happy with the CGPA, somebody is not happy with his department, somebody
00:26is not happy with departmental rank, somebody is not happy with summer internship, somebody
00:30is not happy with the choice of courses, somebody is not happy with the final placement.
00:34There is nobody who is satisfied.
00:35So once you are in IIT, it no more appears a big deal.
00:39You want something higher.
00:40And that is okay.
00:42That's what makes us human.
00:43I'm not complaining.
00:45I'm not saying one should be easily satisfied.
00:47On the contrary, I'm saying that it is this lack of satisfaction that is the very mark
00:52of humanness.
00:53This lack of satisfaction means we are looking for something yet higher.
