00:00Hello there, my name's Mike, I'm part of the Wycombe Charity Beer Festival team, we're
00:06here at the Wycombe Centre today raising funds for charity. This is our 30th festival, we've
00:13been now going around 16 years, we do two festivals a year and we're now getting on
00:18to raising £200,000 for local charities and good causes. This year we are raising funds
00:25for the Wycombe Scouts, the Mountbatten Centre, the Rowan Centre and the Rose Road Charity.
00:33Is there anything new on offer today? Each year we have new beers on offer and new
00:38ciders. We have a rolling selection going across from local and national breweries.
00:44Gary here has done some of the sponsorship work which he'll tell you about.
00:49Let me just say as well, we've got 40 different beers on today, plus we've got 10 ciders,
00:54so that's a good selection. Sponsorship, it's all our local businesses are actually
01:02helping out by sponsoring a barrel or sponsoring other things such as the programme, the beer
01:13mats, the rooms, everything, the glasses and a special thanks really to the two main brewers
01:22that we actually have, Bowmans who have been exceptionally kind to us and also Powder
01:28Monkey who are always good to us as well. What's the general reaction been like today?
01:34We have had a very successful festival so far and we're hoping that we will sell out
01:39this afternoon and have around about 800 happy drinkers here all drinking for charity.
