00:00The two men in Caloocan were arrested in a separate operation due to rape of two minors.

00:06The accused denied the charges.

00:08EJ Gomez has the first news.

00:15In this corner of Barangay Bagong Silang in Caloocan,

00:19the police cornered a man accused of raping a minor.

00:26The victim is the son of the accused.

00:30According to the police, the rape of the 14-year-old victim happened in 2018.

00:36What happened was that the father invited his stepdaughter to enter a room.

00:45Sometimes, he would give her 50 pesos or 100 pesos.

00:49Then, he raped the child.

00:54When his Calipin partner found out about it,

00:58everyone was angry and they fought until the case was filed against the suspect.

01:05The accused, who was released from the court, obtained an arrest warrant in 2023.

01:10According to the 37-year-old accused, the rape was done by force.

01:16I didn't do it. There's no truth to it.

01:19They're just raping me.

01:20I didn't do it. Why would they do that to me?

01:22I gave everything to them.

01:24According to police records, the accused was also jailed for molesting the same victim.

01:30He will be faced with a new case of two counts of qualified rape and attempted qualified rape.

01:35In Barangay Bagong Silang,

01:38operatives of the Northern Police District arrested the 27-year-old accused

01:44for molesting another minor victim.

01:47According to the police, the accused and the victim were cousins.

01:57Sometimes, our suspect would let our victim enter the CR.

02:01He said he was being chased.

02:04Then, until such time,

02:07he was allowed to enter the room.

02:09He was also moved and molested.

02:11That's when he started complaining.

02:14The accused denied the charges.

02:17He said he wasn't at home when the incident happened.

02:21He also said that he was just being chased by his cousin,

02:24who was possibly angry at his molestation.

02:27I consider him as my cousin.

02:30But ma'am, I can't even imagine that he molested me like that.

02:34Because that day,

02:36that morning, I left the house.

02:40He's not there anymore.

02:41I left the house without any problem for a few days.

02:46I was at work when I found out that he was complaining about me.

02:49He didn't even talk to me.

02:52He will be charged with rape by sexual assault.
