00:21First of all, fellow countrymen, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. witnessed the destruction of more than 2 million pieces of broken e-vapes in the compound of the Buran Customs Support Area in Manila.
00:34The victims of the 10 operations in different parts of Metro Manila in 2024 were shocked.
00:41In his statement, the President said that the e-vapes and e-cigarettes that were destroyed had no permits and documentation, did not pay taxes, and were poisoned by chemicals.
00:54He is worried about this, especially since most of the vapes users are young people who want to learn how to be addicted to vapes.
01:02This is harmful to their health because it has a long-lasting poison.
01:07The President also emphasized that the government is not aware of how the vapes are made and are just arriving in the country, so they should be targeted.
01:16The number of Filipinos using vapes will decrease compared to the number of people who lose their lives because of the life and health of these people who are compromised because of this harmful poison.
01:28That is why the authorities will continue to carry out operations to get all the smuggled vapes in the country.
