00:00Good morning. A bit of a fresh start, a bit chilly for some of us. There's even a touch of frost in a few places, as well as a few pockets of mist and fog.
00:09Most of that, though, will clear through the next few hours, some of it lingering for a little while across some eastern parts of Scotland, eastern England as well.
00:16But generally, lots of fine weather yet again on offer for us as we go through today.
00:21Perhaps not quite as much sunshine as we saw yesterday. There'll be a bit of cloud bubbling up.
00:26There's also some high-level clouds, some cirrus cirrustratus around, so the sunshine may be a bit hazier than it was yesterday.
00:32But nonetheless, plenty of fine weather for most, albeit thicker clouds still affecting the far north of Scotland for the time being.
00:40With all the sunshine, then, it is going to feel warm for most, especially towards the west.
00:44Here we have the highest temperatures today, highs of around 17, 18, possibly even 19 Celsius for some western parts of Scotland.
00:51Further east, a little bit fresher than this, and you do need to factor in that wind which is coming in from the North Sea.
00:57Worth bearing in mind, UV levels at the moment, they are moderate. The sun does have some decent strength behind it already at this time of year.
01:05Staying dry with lots of fine, clear weather as we go through the evening.
01:09Clear start to the night for most of us, but that cloud in the far north edging a little bit further southwards,
01:15that's going to push its way in across some northern eastern parts of Scotland and also down the North Sea coastal parts of England as well.
01:22Some of that low cloud feeding a bit further inland as we go overnight.
01:26Away from the cloudier zones, we're going to have clear skies, and so again, a touch of frost in rural spots quite likely as we go through into Wednesday morning.
01:35But further east and towards the northeast, particularly where we have that thicker cloud, temperatures not dropping as low as they have done through some recent nights.
01:43But otherwise, as we go through Wednesday, yes, a bit of a cloudy start for some eastern northeastern parts,
01:49and we are going to erode that cloud away as we go through the day as that sun gets to work.
01:54But some coastal parts will actually stay stuck under that cloud through much of the day, so pretty grey here.
02:01Otherwise, plenty of sunshine yet again on offer. Central western parts, lots of blue skies, and again, west is best when it comes to those highest temperatures.
02:10Again, likely to reach highs around 18, 19 Celsius towards the west.
02:14In the east, where we're stuck under that cloud, it is going to be quite a few degrees lower than this.
02:19But worth bearing in mind, with a flip in our wind direction as we go into Thursday,
02:24actually eastern parts, particularly eastern Scotland, going to have the highest temperatures, could get to the low 20s Celsius.
02:30I'm sure Honor will touch on this in our deep dive, which will be available on our YouTube channel later on this afternoon.
02:36But I'll see you again soon. Ta-ra.
