00:00Hello again, very good day to you. I hope you are enjoying the fine weather many of
00:04us are having today because it is going to last for a couple of days yet. It's all due
00:09to this air of high pressure, it's dominating the picture across the UK at the moment and
00:13it's keeping the weather fronts in the west at bay for the time being. If we look towards
00:18Easter Sunday and you can see later on we will see a spell of rain sweeping its way
00:22across the country. That should clear on Easter Monday but further unsettled weather following
00:27Taking a look at the picture earlier on today and you can see we had largely clear skies
00:31to start. As a result it was pretty chilly but now the sunshine's got going, temperatures
00:36have lifted up nicely. As we look through Friday afternoon we do have a bit of clouds
00:41starting to push its way in from the North Sea. We could see a few spots of rain around
00:45immediate North Sea coasts. Elsewhere a dry picture, plenty of spring sunshine and in
00:50that sunshine feeling pleasantly warm with temperatures reaching highs around 15 or 16
00:54Celsius so a touch above average for the time of year. For many there won't be a huge
00:59amount of change as we go through the end of the day on Friday but across eastern parts
01:03we're going to see a bit more clouds spilling its way in and that cloud will bring a few
01:06outbreaks of rain particularly to north east England and eastern Scotland and also some
01:10hill fog as well. Further west where we have the clear skies it's going to be a bit chillier.
01:15We're likely to see temperatures not falling quite as low as they did last night but still
01:19the potential for a touch of frost in prone spots and also watch out for some mist and
01:23fog patches particularly in the south yet again. As we look through Saturday and for
01:28many it is going to be another fine day especially across central western parts of England and
01:34Wales and western Scotland where there'll be quite a lot of spring sunshine again. Further
01:38east it's going to be a bit cloudier and still a few spots of rain are possible but even
01:43here I'm expecting some breaks in the cloud to develop as we go into the afternoon so
01:46most will see some spring sunshine and in that again feeling pleasantly warm. Temperatures
01:51may be a touch higher than today with highs around 16 perhaps even 17 Celsius. Later on
01:57through Saturday evening we are going to see quite a bit of cloud across parts of Northern
02:00Ireland and the wind strengthening here too. That's because of this front that's starting
02:04to push its way in so we could see some outbreaks of rain across parts of Northern Ireland and
02:09western Scotland as we go through Saturday night into Sunday. Otherwise and there will
02:13be a bit more cloud than we've seen through some recent nights so I'm not expecting it
02:17to be quite as chilly as it has been recently. A quick look towards Easter Sunday then and
02:22for many there will be quite a bit of cloud around. I think this paints a little bit of
02:25a pessimistic picture with cloud amounts so we should see some bright sunny skies especially
02:30as we go into the afternoon and in the sunshine again temperatures not doing too badly perhaps
02:34even higher than on Saturday. It's a highs around 17 or 18 Celsius but our attention
02:40turns to this system that's going to bring some rain from the west and that's going to
02:44arrive later on Easter Sunday. That will then sweep its way eastwards across the UK
02:49as we go overnight into Easter Monday. So a wet start for some but that rain should
02:53clear away. However further unsettled weather is going to follow so plenty of heavy showery
02:58rain to come as we go through Easter Monday. Despite the unsettled weather temperatures
03:02are still going to be a touch above average but not quite as a high as they will have
03:06been earlier on in the long weekend. There's more unsettled perhaps even stormy weather
03:10to come as we go through next week so it's definitely worth keeping up to date with the
03:13forecast wherever you are on all of our social media channels, our app and our website. I'll
03:18see you later.
