00:00Transport for Greater Manchester have announced that they will be submitting plans for the
00:03regeneration of Bury Interchange to make it more accessible. They have also this week submitted
00:10plans to allow for a new pedestrian crossing. If the plans are approved then work for the bridge
00:15could start as early as next year and this will help support passengers to be able to still use
00:21the tram services whilst the £80 million redevelopment starts subject to approval from 2027.
