00:00Well, the severe weather season has already been off to a very active start and to give you an idea of just how active it really has been. Let's look at the preliminary tornado reports through April 7th. We're going to look at the red line, which is this year. There have been 473 preliminary reports compared to the historical average, which is what's considered normal for this point in the year. 266. So if you've been feeling like man, there have been a lot of tornadoes, you're correct. There really have been. There have been several tornado
00:29outbreaks, too. So let's take these outbreak by outbreak, starting with March 14th through the 16th. Now, this was actually ranked third for the most tornado warning since records began back in 1986. And you're looking at a map here of the track these tornadoes took. We saw 30 EF2 tornadoes, but we saw three EF4, the strongest tornadoes that we saw in this outbreak. And it wasn't the only one. Just about two weeks later, we had another outbreak March 30th and the 31st.
00:59with at least 71 tornadoes confirmed. Now, these had a shorter track and they were also weaker compared to the tornadoes earlier in the month, but still 71 confirmed tornadoes. Then we go to April. Not long after April 2nd and 3rd, we have another outbreak with at least 75 confirmed tornadoes. Again, you're looking at the track these tornadoes took. By far, we saw a majority of these as EF1s.
01:24That's in the green here. But we did see six EF3 tornadoes from this outbreak. And of course, we did not stop there. Coming to the most recent severe weather outbreak that we saw April 4th to the 7th, there were at least 39 tornadoes confirmed from this outbreak. And of course, we've been focusing a lot on the flooding because that has had the bigger impact. We have seen several tornadoes as well.
01:48We're all along.
