Trump says countries are 'kissing my ass' over trade tariffs  US President Donald Trump on April 8, 2025 says countries are 'kissing my ass' to secure trade deals hours before increased tariffs were levied on China. Trump, speaking at the National Republican Congressional Committee dinner said, 'They are dying to make a deal. Please, please, sir, make a deal. I'll do anything' as supporters were heard laughing in the background. Investors and political leaders are still trying to figure out if Trump's tariffs are permanent or a pressure tactic to win concessions from other countries. 00:56That's the beauty is these guys, we've got to be careful.

01:11But we have to remain united because some of the trade deals that were made by predecessors as president were so bad, you almost wonder who did these deals.
