00:00I think it's important to vote number one for the Greens because we have very clear policies on the things that are important to people, I think, on addressing the housing crisis, on stopping new coal and gas projects, ending fossil fuel use and moving to renewables, cost of living crisis, we want young people to have free university, we want to wipe student debt completely.
00:27You can see our policies very clearly and we don't back off from any of them. Gilmore's got a few key issues, I think the housing crisis really bites us hard here and I think it's important that we change tax structures that will reduce the enticement for investors to take properties that need to be used for people who live here.
00:54We want rent to be available. We want young people to have opportunity. I think that's, like, combined, the housing crisis, the young people are a big loser in the housing crisis, but also in terms of cost of living.
01:10How many of us know young people who are doing several jobs, insecure jobs, trying to get enough money together just to survive and we cannot ignore the impact of logging on this community in our native forests and I know that this is going to be a contentious issue.
01:27So, I think, I think, I think, I think it needs to stop and the people who work in that industry need to be looked after in regard to it, but it needs to stop, no question.
01:34We've also got some biodiversity issues here, so we've got developments happening in our very fragile environment that needs to be protected and we need to push the Labor or a minority Labor government on improving the protection to endangered species.
01:56Putting the Greens number one is a way of maximising your vote. If you support our policies, if you put us number one, then order as you need to the others. I would recommend that Greens are one and that Liberal is four, or if there are more candidates, make a choice, but that Labor is above Liberal.
02:22I don't feel good about Andrew Constance because he's already said that he's, that the Liberal Party are going to walk away from the Paris Accord. Now, I don't understand how that fits with what he's said in the past. This is a person who has tended to support the environment and who now seems to openly be saying that, well, what is it? Is it climate denial or what?
02:50Now, not only is that bad policy, but that makes you wonder about whether a person stands up for what they believe in and what he does believe in. So, no, I'm concerned about that. I don't think we want Andrew Constance as our member.
