Himachal Pradesh PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh has taken a jibe at actor-politician Kangana Ranaut after she accused the Congress-led state government of sending her inflated electricity bill. In a Facebook post on Thursday, April 10, Singh said Ranaut does not pay electricity bills and then curses the state government. The BJP MP recently alleged that she had received INR 1 lakh electricity bill for her house in Mandi where she does not reside. However, the Himachal Pradesh Electricity Board Limited (HPSEBL) called Ranaut's allegations "misleading" and said the pending bill amount includes arrears. "It is misleading to suggest that the INR 90,384 bill is for a single month. It includes unpaid dues and late payment surcharges from previous billing cycles" Sandeep Kumar, Managing Director of HPSEBL, said.
