Reaction as Edinburgh beat Bulls 34-28 in the EPCR Challenge Cup quarter-finals

00:00Hello, it's Graeme Bean from the Scotsman at Murrayfield, where Edinburgh have just beaten the Vodacom Bulls 34-28 at Hive Stadium to reach the semi-finals of the EPCR Challenge Cup.
00:15First time in 10 years that Edinburgh have reached a European semi-final and they had to work hard for it.
00:21They led 24-7 at half-time through tries from James Lang who scored two and Magnus Bradbury.
00:30They went further ahead early in the second half through a try from Grant Gilchrist who pushed them 31-7 ahead.
00:36But the Bulls finished the match very strongly. They got a penalty try which also saw Ross McCann yellow carded.
00:43Then David Creel got his second try of the game and also a score from Cameron Hancombe as he came back very very strongly in the final stages.
00:52Edinburgh were defending deep in the second half. Close thrown line.
00:57Pierre Schumann won a superb turnover right at the death to make sure they won the game.
01:02They will now meet either Bath or Gloucester in the semi-finals of the EPCR Challenge Cup.
01:09They have home advantage again because of their good performances in the pool stage where they won their group.
01:16And that match, the semi-final is going to be taking place at the first weekend of May, date to be confirmed, but first weekend in May at Hive Stadium.
