00:00And for more context of these election days in Ecuador, we will be back with our special
00:06envoy in the country, Jorge Gestoso, for more. Jorge, hello. What else can you tell us today
00:13about this electoral runoff and after the polling stations were closed?
00:19Well, one hour and a half has already gone by, and we can see some indications from the
00:28center of computation of the voting that's from the National Electoral Council, because the
00:36information of the votes start to come right to that center and mostly are starting to show in
00:46different screens from different areas of the country that voters are coming from. So we're in
00:53the process of the tallying of the votes and according to the precisely the center of the
01:01national electoral voting, the trend that they could see that could be irreversible could be
01:09around 9 p.m., so in about two hours and a half. In the meantime, we could hear in the streets
01:17cars just with Claxon trying to celebrate. We don't know which side of the two candidates are
01:28celebrating. It's too early. They don't have any special information. But I mean, there is that
01:33atmosphere that's out of a trend in the city of people excited, looking forward to get a winner.
01:43And so far, once again, what has been that decree of President Lloboa to decide that seven provinces
01:56were under state of emergency because of internal commotion that internal commotion did not take
02:05place, are not taking place. So basically, it's seen as a strategy in the campaigns because in those
02:13provinces were her rival. And Luisa Gonzalez was performing better than him. 83%, as you were mentioning,
02:22was a percentage of the people voting a little bit better than the first round. So again, there is a
02:31lot of expectation and probably you can see some noises of fireworks that are already being displayed
02:39in this capital, Quito. So we are following very closely what we are learning to share it as soon as we get it
02:48with you. We get back to you now. Well, thank you very much, Jorge, for your information. We'll be back
02:55with you as soon as we can. Thank you.
