00:00and excited to be here with the rest of my team.
00:03You know, we know where the ground stands and we are up against a tough opponent.
00:08But we are here to defy the odds because we believe in our vision for a better Singapore and a better Aljunit.
00:15To me, Aljunit is not just an opposition ward.
00:19It's a community that cares deeply about Singapore.
00:24Voters here don't vote blindly.
00:26And they want their representatives to work hard, to be humble, and to listen.
00:31And in time, I think we all hope that we can live up to these standards.
00:35So our focus is on our residents.
00:38I think what our residents and voters want are people who care, willing to take action for them,
00:50and really keeping them as a priority in all that we do.
00:53And this team has been doing that and is ready to do that at a higher level, at a national level, for our listeners.
01:01I think that paradigm that you need to have an anchor minister to help the residents, that's probably not how we see it.
01:09In fact, the fact that we are not political office holders running this campaign means that we have more time to be on the ground,
01:15more time to engage and understand more holistically.
01:18In terms of being a Suicide Squad, I mean, I'm sure we've all seen the movie, or many of us have,
01:24and I think that movie shows that Suicide Squad is just a bunch of people who have very different backgrounds,
01:29who come together and achieve what they want to do.
01:32And for us, that is to serve and win back this place, and I think we can do the same.
01:36Look, at the end of the day, nobody enters an election hoping they will lose.
01:41We have a strong team here with a commitment to serve the residents and Singapore and Singaporeans,
01:47with a conviction to be able to speak up for the residents and the ability to bring communities and people together.
01:54These are our strengths, and I hope Singaporeans give us a chance.
