00:00If we are not in that game, if we are not involved in experimenting, in innovating, in terms of digital central bank money, we risk losing the role of anchor that we have played for many, many decades.
00:13And we have historical examples of period where the central bank monetary anchor was not there.
00:19And that precipitated crisis after crisis.
00:22That certainly was the case at the time of the free banking in the 19th century.
00:25Do we want to go back to those days?
00:27Probably not.
00:27I would say certainly not from our vantage point.
00:30As a result of which we have to respond to the demand for those digital payments in order to maintain the role of anchor that we have been playing regularly.
00:38So what have we done here in Europe?
00:40We have decided early on to start experimenting discreetly and try to understand concept, the preferences, the media that could be used, and the characteristics that should be presented by the digital euro, as we call it.
00:54We're not the only one.
00:55There's more than 100 central banks that are currently looking at CBDCs.
00:59There's more than 515 COOs.
01:00You know it.
01:03There's more than 100 percent from our annotation and the marketing are coming to our captives.
01:05Thanks.
01:05Thanks again for feeling情.
01:07Thanks.
01:07You know it.
