00:00This is our main event, WrestleKingdom Night 1, WrestleKingdom 14.
00:20Our paid crowd tonight, 40,008.
00:24And they've all joined us from all over the world to see this thrilling night of action
00:34with Night 1 culminating in the IWGP Heavyweight Championship match.
00:43The G1 Climax Tournament winner, Kota Ibushi, out first.
00:49If you do not give up, bro dreams will not die.
00:53If you do not give up, you can live them.
00:56For Kota Ibushi, the ultimate dream.
01:00The dream to make history as the first double IWGP Heavyweight and Incontinental Champion
01:07with the lights on bright and the stars out.
01:11To further what professional wrestling is, is the goal of Kota Ibushi.
01:19And the best platform, the best loudspeaker in the world, is the IWGP Heavyweight Championship.
01:26We wondered about the toughness, the spirit, the energy for Ibushi on the road to this title match.
01:43And Rocky, Kota Ibushi answered that with one swing of that G1 Climax Tournament winning briefcase.
01:50Oh yeah, this is the Kota Ibushi that came to fight.
01:57He wants more than anything to hold the IWGP Heavyweight Champion.
02:06Walk into day two of WrestleKingdom 14 and now face Tetsuya Naito for both of the greatest championships in professional wrestling.
02:23Kota Ibushi enters WrestleKingdom riding an 11-match winning streak in singles matches.
02:28The ankle that he injured in his first match of the G1 Climax Tournament is now fully healed.
02:34A singles match record in 2019 of 14 and 5.
02:54And on an 11-match streak, you can tell just how rough 2019 began.
03:02And to think that he would be standing here as the G1 Climax Tournament winner after dropping his first two and not losing since.
03:10Tetsuya Naito for both of these έναs in the games.
05:12Okada!
05:42How good has Okada been in 2019?
05:5618-3 in singles matches.
06:05You can barely get a sniff off of them, but one of those was Takoda Ibushi.
06:10And since Okada's return from Excursion 2012, there has been 58 IWGP Heavyweight Championship matches, and Okada has been in 42 of them.
06:33Thanks to Cordell Mitchell for that step that was passed along.
06:39That's an amazing amount of big-time matches, and right now, Okada is the man who stands on top of the mountain as the IWGP Heavyweight Champion.
06:50Okada is the man who stands on top of the mountain as the champion of Okada is the champion belt.
06:59The announcement there that Kazuchika Okada will pass the IWGP Heavyweight Championship over to be presented to Kota Ibushi, and then to the crowd for the seventh time in eight years.
07:13This is an IWGP title match in the Tokyo Dome for Kazuchika Okada. Familiar ground for the champion, not so for the challenger.
07:20First main event in Tokyo Dome for Kota Ibushi.
07:25A 4-3 mark for Okada in title matches here at Tokyo Dome, 3-2 in main events.
07:36Very short pants.
07:38Two shortes.
07:40I love it.
07:46All right, so here we go.
07:47It's Okada vs. Ibushi. This is our main event for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship.
07:56Wrestle Kingdom 14, Night 1.
08:02No matter where you're watching around the world, you can feel it.
08:06The main event of Tokyo Dome.
08:11It's giving me goosebumps, Kevin.
08:17It's giving me a chance.
08:31It's, it's giving me a chance.
08:31It's giving me a chance.
08:33This is professional wrestling.
08:36Because Chika Okada said the greatest thing in the world, better than any sport, better than rugby, better than soccer, better than the Olympics, better than any rock actor in the world, this is professional wrestling.
08:47He knows that his prize, the IWGP Heavyweight Championship, is the absolute richest in pro wrestling.
08:55And Okada has spent a lot of time thinking about his place in the landscape of Japanese sports
09:03with so much attention on rugby and the Olympics.
09:07And very much Okada wants to surpass those all-encompassing sports.
09:15To be the man, and the king, the king of sports, will certainly be able to claim that mantle.
09:30Bushi ringing up the left arm of the five-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion.
09:36Bushi said that ankle injury during the G1 made him a more calculated competitor,
09:42but says, calculation goes out the window in this main event, not thinking, just feeling.
09:47And that makes him dangerous.
09:48Injuries can sometimes do that as a professional wrestler.
09:51You start having to changing your technique and the way you wrestle.
09:55But with that, almost that arrogance that Okada's had over the last few months,
10:01it's brought out probably the worst in Ibushi.
10:03And now, we've got a man who just wants to win and wants to hurt Okada.
10:09And we've seen it time and time again,
10:12when Ibushi is pushed, or poked, or prodded,
10:16or gets to this emotional state,
10:20how dangerous Ibushi can be.
10:23Yeah, and he said he feels he is able to hit that switch.
10:28He is able to turn that on.
10:31But he says he's not sure whether he's able to turn that off again.
10:35And once that switch is flipped, not even he knows what he's going to do.
10:44Slow pace to start this main event here.
10:47Wrestle Kingdom 14 at the Tokyo Dome.
10:49Ibushi controlling the left arm with the hammerlock.
10:56Okada trying to find an escape.
10:58Is it with an elbow strike?
11:00Is it with a reversal?
11:01Is it with a sweep of the leg between his own?
11:06Stepping inward.
11:08Reversing the hammerlock.
11:10Ibushi, the drop toe hold.
11:11Ibushi on the back of Okada.
11:15They met in the A-block finale of the G1 Climax 29 tournament.
11:23And Ibushi was victorious.
11:26Ok, go!
11:28Brain break there.
11:31And the crowd appreciating it as they erupt into applause.
11:34Both these men's beginnings are so different, yet so interesting.
11:44Very intriguing.
11:46Cody Ibushi, almost self-taught, right Chris?
11:50Absolutely self-taught.
11:51Pulled himself as a fan from the countryside out to Tokyo.
11:55Said, you know, he tried being in a wrestling dojo.
11:58Said that that wasn't for him.
12:00He couldn't really learn, really wrestle the way that other people wrestled.
12:04He wound up training himself.
12:06Well, Kazuchika Okada went a more classical style, but still an international route.
12:12Yeah, Rocky, it was again, he seemed to be born to do this.
12:15Right, 15 years old.
12:17Leaves Japan.
12:18Goes to Mexico.
12:19Joins Ultimo Dragon Dojo.
12:22In Mexico.
12:24Trains there extensively.
12:25Under Sky Day, Negro Navarro, Ultimo Dragon.
12:31Very non-traditional route.
12:33But for both, there is that commonality of people that took a gamble and a huge bet on themselves
12:38at such a young age.
12:39True.
12:39To fly yourself as a teenager to Mexico, not knowing anything, is incredible.
12:45And for Cody Ibushi as well, pulled himself into Tokyo.
12:48You know, worked as a baggage attendant in Narita Airport just to get by as he was undergoing training
12:55in pro wrestling and kickboxing.
12:59Okada with the side headlock.
13:02Each man, you can tell, they realize the gravity of this match.
13:06And they are wrestling cautious, but at the same time, trying to do some work here to wear
13:13down their opponent.
13:14To create some opportunities that could pay dividends later on.
13:19Ibushi now has Okada back up.
13:21And Ibushi will free himself from the side headlock.
13:24Okada comes forward.
13:25Ibushi down.
13:26Ibushi straight back up though.
13:28Yes.
13:29Wow.
13:30Almost like a rubber band just bounced straight up onto his feet.
13:34Let's see who will command the striking exchange here.
13:43Wait a minute.
13:43Wait a minute.
13:43Here we go.
13:46Combo from Ibushi.
13:48Oh, the chest kick.
13:51Whoa, moonsault.
13:53Looks the outside leg.
13:54Red Shoes is there.
13:55And a kick out at two.
13:58Ibushi's so quick with his hands and feet.
14:01And so precise as well.
14:03Oh, that kick brought into the guts of Okada.
14:06Extensive kickboxing training.
14:08Really, Kota Ibushi is built like the perfect wrestler.
14:12Strong, yet not too muscular.
14:17Agile.
14:18And beautiful.
14:19Beautiful and flexible.
14:21Flexibility is the key with Ibushi.
14:23And Okada, I have a feeling, might put throwing strikes at Ibushi in his back pocket because that's a clear advantage, as are those kicks.
14:35And having the ankle fully healed, Rocky, which was a problem during the G1, I'm sure, would be very good for Ibushi in that regard.
14:43Oh, it's going to be great for Ibushi in that regard.
14:46He's going to be able to hit his offense the way he wants.
14:50He's going to be able to step on that leg, throw great kicks.
14:54Mid kick is always a great weapon for him.
14:56He can go high, head kick, and be comfortable and still get speed and power.
15:00Okada trying to get to that bottom rope, and Ibushi is keeping him right there.
15:05Okada having to work very, very hard and expel a lot of energy to free himself.
15:10It takes so much out of you to drag another man's body weight to try and reach that bottom rope.
15:15And you see Okada's almost spent there.
15:19It's all his energy to break that hold.
15:22Complete chess game right now.
15:23Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
15:28To your point earlier that it's addition, not by subtraction, for Kota Ibushi.
15:33Because during the G1, he developed a much more strike-based style.
15:37Now he can still go back to his flying while still using...
15:41Oh my god, did you hear that?
15:45Damn!
15:49That would have taken the air right out of Okada's lungs.
15:51Right, and Okada starting very slow here
15:55Underneath, ducks again, and the elbow knocked down
16:02So just when it looks to be advantage Bushi, Okada quickens the pace and puts his challenger down
16:08Tetsuya Naito victorious in our previous match
16:11Is the new Intercontinental Champion
16:13And the winner of this championship contest will face Naito tomorrow night in our main event
16:18And one man will be the double champion
16:22But a lot of ground yet to cover here between Ibushi and Okada
16:26Flying elbow connects
16:28Whoa, great DDT there
16:32He'll float over into the cover, and a two, and a kick out
16:37Rocky, I want to ask you from a wrestler's standpoint, Okada wearing new boots in for this championship match
16:44Is that something that can be an issue?
16:48Absolutely, I think most wrestlers find themselves in new wrestling gear at all
16:55Whether it be boots, tights, whatever, shorts
16:58Just getting used to that, you know, a lot of times people will train in them
17:03Just to get used to the feeling, because any little changes could always throw you off, you know?
17:10Try to wear down some of the edges on the boot heel
17:13Yeah, you couldn't be more spot on, Kevin and Rocky
17:16Really, and the grip isn't there on the bottom of your shoes yet
17:19That might play a factor
17:21A different angle than a DDT in the ring
17:41That draping version that Okada has used so frequently
17:45And we'll take another look
17:51Oh, jeez
17:53Yeah, when he landed, his legs were still
17:57On that fence
18:00The gate
18:01You don't take that version of a DDT on the top of your head
18:06You get it right in the prefrontal lobe, right in the forehead
18:09You see, Okada took his time, he walked all the way around the ring, catching his breath
18:16We talked about the energy he used
18:18Just the one count, but the energy he would have used to break up those holds
18:23And that long exploding kick from Ibushi earlier
18:30Yeah, and Ibushi showing he's not done
18:34Once more from Ibushi
18:39He wants to flip that switch to Okada
18:42He wants to beat the scariest Ibushi there is
18:45We've seen Okada get that mean streak
18:51Oh, and another DDT, that one on the top of the head
18:55Forcing himself to get fired up
18:58I wonder if he wants to bring that dark side of Ibushi out
19:03For the thought that he might catch Ibushi
19:06Make a mistake, get him off his game
19:08It's an interesting game plan and one that could easily backfire
19:14You are playing with fire when you go that route with Ibushi
19:17What was Ibushi saying there?
19:30He was getting frustrated there
19:30Frustrated there, was Kota Ibushi at the hold he was in.
19:45Ibushi, pair of elbows, frees himself
19:49from the rear chin lock and popping Okada.
19:52Slash that kick off.
19:53Oh, Okada.
19:54Oh!
19:56Okada caught that kick, but oh, that dropkicks there.
20:00Okada was able to avoid another mid-kick, but instead got dropkicked.
20:22Oh, so quick, those forearms, Ibushi.
20:25Okada reverses, Ibushi comes off the ropes.
20:27Couldn't avoid that flying mid-kick though.
20:30And even Ibushi taking some devastating DDTs is now controlling this match with his style
20:40and his pace.
20:41Got to be cautious moving in.
20:44He'll send Okada across.
20:46Reversal.
20:50Ibushi using the speed.
20:52Catches.
20:53Power slab.
20:55He'll float.
20:56Moonsault.
20:58Second rope moonsault.
21:00Okada's down.
21:01A kick out at two.
21:02Ibushi.
21:08Ibushi's doing a great job of hitting all his signature stuff.
21:12Ah.
21:12Ah.
21:13Ah.
21:13Ah.
21:14Ah.
21:14Ah.
21:15Ah.
21:15Ah.
21:16Ah.
21:17Ah.
21:17Ah.
21:18Ah.
21:19Ah.
21:20Ah.
21:21Very vocal Ibushi tonight in the ring.
21:22Yeah, very different to what we're used to.
21:25Ibushi usually quiet and calculated, but it's almost an anger or frustration.
21:30It's definitely a different type of intensity that we're used to seeing from Ibushi, especially
21:40this early on in a match.
21:41Okada hits that buckle.
21:43You could see he was not moving well.
21:45And crashing into the turnbuckle.
21:48Now trying a German suplex.
21:50Ibushi realizes he's got Okada weakened.
21:53Oh!
22:04Oh man!
22:05Okada may have been playing Ibushi and was able to connect with that top rope drop kick.
22:14And another look.
22:16That's at least six-six and a half feet in the air.
22:22not a going out again successful earlier on with Ibushi on the floor with that draping DDT and now
22:40Okada is going to send Ibushi into the barricades Okada follows in how many times has Okada's
22:51opponent been in this position on the green floor of the Tokyo Dome
23:06there he goes
23:11his body crashing to Ibushi
23:15I'm really digging the high intensity from both these athletes they know tonight is a big night
23:3340,008 folks here in the Tokyo Dome stakes can never be higher than ever
23:44and Okada wheeling Ibushi underneath the bottom rope Okada's holding his ribs first at mid kick then that moonsault
23:51wow interesting could be going wow I haven't seen red ink for a
23:56while from Kazuchika Okada
24:00no no no no no no no
24:06wow I haven't seen red ink for a while from Kazuchika Okada
24:09no no no no no no
24:11wow
24:13oh wow
24:14Zhanganda
24:15widele
24:18wow
24:20No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
24:22What?
24:24I'm giving it!
24:26Definitely Okada came in with the game plan.
24:28You've seen something like Red Ingle, a move from his past and a little bit more of a Mexican Javi-influenced hold,
24:37as opposed to the more simpler Kamala Clutch that he had been losing.
24:42Maybe a little bit more of that arrogance from Kazuki Okada perhaps.
24:46Well Rocky, you know him better than anyone else here.
24:49I mean I think he's just trying to do a good job of mixing it up.
24:56It might take all the bag of tricks Okada has to win this match and head to Night 2 of Tokyo Dome for WrestleKingdom 14.
25:04Tonight's the night, you know.
25:06Ibushi is struggling with his breath as Okada slams him hard to the mat.
25:22Okada heading to the top.
25:23Okada heading to the top
25:25His eyes squarely on his target below
25:29That's the chest of Kota Ibushi
25:31Oh man, heavy
25:33Heavy elbow drop
25:36Give me the one shot, Camelman
25:43Can Okada put Ibushi away here
25:49And retain the IWGP Heavyweight Championship
25:53Here we go
25:56Looking for the Rainmaker
25:57Rainmaker though
25:57Backflip kick
26:00Wow
26:02Ibushi landed right on his head
26:05Yep
26:06Now Okada might land on his
26:09He's going for Ito Dinashi
26:10The bastard driver
26:12Got him
26:14Got all of it
26:17But he cannot follow up
26:19After attempting a backflip kick
26:25That nearly was disastrous
26:28Yeah, he landed square on his head
26:30Birdman taking hard impacts
26:35On the top of their head and neck
26:36And pressing him
26:37The IWGP Heavyweight Championship
26:41The prize
26:42On night one
26:45Of Wrestle Kingdom
26:46This is our main event
26:48Ibushi challenging Okada
26:51Both been damaged at this point
26:54Okada was clutching his neck
26:58As he started to work his way up to his feet
27:01Now he wants Okada on his feet
27:15Okada says stand up
27:17Big boot from Okada in the corner
27:20Shot to block it
27:22Just the soul might have left
27:28Okada's body
27:31Ibushi's doing a great job
27:35Of attacking the body
27:37It started
27:40With that heavy chest kick
27:43Earlier on in the match
27:44And now
27:44A double stomp
27:46Right into the chest of Okada
27:47Okada
27:48You gotta think about it
27:50Okada is known for his stamina
27:53How many battles has he had
27:57For the IWGP Heavyweight title
27:59That went over 30 minutes
28:0140 minutes
28:01The heavy hand might be coming
28:03Watch out
28:04Whoa
28:05Oh
28:06You're at the top
28:06You got it
28:08You got it
28:09You got it
28:09You got it
28:13You got it
28:14You got it
28:15You got it
28:15You got it
28:15You got it
28:15You got it
28:16You got it
28:17You got it
28:18Ibushi
28:22Ibushi crashing down hard
28:24On top of Kazuchiko Okada
28:27After the golden triangle
28:28Och
28:30And Shizuno imploring the athletes
28:44To get back into the ring
28:45And Ibushi will roll
28:46Okada under
28:47That bottom rope, the endurance of Okada, certainly the focus of the attack from Kota Ibushi.
28:58Spraying for missile drop kick.
29:05I think you're right, Rocky, about Ibushi's game plan.
29:08Blow the lungs out of Okada.
29:11And he can't last the distance.
29:13Uh-oh, wait a second now.
29:15Keep a hold of him, trying to trap that head.
29:17Uh-oh, uh-oh, Okada's up.
29:22Oh my!
29:24It's that last ride too!
29:26Oh!
29:42Okada's average winning singles match time
29:45in Tokyo Dome, 30 minutes, 33 seconds.
29:48This is by far the highest of all competitors to ever have a singles match in the Tokyo Dome.
29:54Shipping up for what could be a bomb A to Ibushi, to Okada, his best friend.
30:04To Ibushi has gone!
30:05Oh!
30:06Nice!
30:07He drilled him!
30:08He drilled him!
30:08He drilled him!
30:08He drilled him!
30:09He drilled him!
30:10He drilled him!
30:11He drilled him!
30:12Caught him!
30:13By surprise!
30:14And now, looking for that Tombstone!
30:17Gonna drop him right now!
30:18Oh!
30:18Oh!
30:19Tombstone!
30:19Oh!
30:20Oh!
30:20Oh!
30:21Oh!
30:22Oh!
30:23Oh!
30:24Oh!
30:25Oh!
30:26Oh!
30:27Oh!
30:28Oh!
30:29Oh!
30:30Oh!
30:31Oh!
30:32Oh!
30:33Oh!
30:34Oh!
30:35Oh!
30:36Oh!
30:37And he drags Okada to the rope.
30:40Oh!
30:48Ibushi had the awareness.
30:49Had luego thrown him.
30:50Cause off the rope to stop the rainmaker now.
30:52Holding on.
30:53Like we saw Naito do with success earlier on.
30:58Hanging onto that rope is Ibushi.
31:00But now Okada frees him.
31:02And drops them.
31:03Can you see his head snap back?
31:06Picture-perfect technique on that uppercut.
31:19Okada so fundamentally great.
31:22What makes him so good.
31:28But Ibushi this time does not go down.
31:32Oh, that's a scary face.
31:34He'll try again.
31:36Ibushi still does not go down.
31:41A third.
31:43Oh.
31:44The emotion has completely left Ibushi's face.
31:48That's a different Ibushi behind those eyes.
31:54Oh.
31:56What a bomb strike.
32:00Oh.
32:02Oh my god a shotgun drop.
32:04He stood up.
32:05He stood right back up.
32:06He stood right back up.
32:09Things are about to get dangerous and frightening around here.
32:16Oh my god.
32:18Heavy punch.
32:20It's a close fist.
32:21Wow.
32:22The admonishment of the referee.
32:24I don't think Ibushi can hear him.
32:26There's no emotion.
32:27There's nothing.
32:27His face is dead.
32:29He's in some sort of fluke state at this point.
32:32It's where Ibushi wanted to be.
32:37It's where Okada said he wanted Ibushi but I think he's regretting it now.
32:43It's backfired heavily on Okada.
32:45Oh my Jesus.
32:48That was a heavy shot.
32:55Mark Carter is covering up for D-line.
32:58At the 25 minute mark.
33:02Oh my God.
33:06He could get D-Q'd.
33:08He's got to be careful.
33:09He's just beating him.
33:10There's boos coming down on Ibushi because he's just not here anymore.
33:18That guy the fans love is gone.
33:21There's somebody else in that body right now.
33:26Rich is trying to get some sense of what's going on.
33:31Oh no.
33:33Hey.
33:34Now with Okada positioned on the apron of the ring.
33:37And now Ibushi will stand on the bottom rope.
33:41And now to the second rope.
33:43Oh jeez.
33:44With a waist lock.
33:45He will look to deadlift German.
33:47Uh oh.
33:48Wait a second.
33:49Okada trying to keep his weight down.
33:51Oh no.
33:54Uh oh.
33:56Ibushi.
33:58I don't like any of this.
33:59Oh this is bad.
34:00No no no.
34:01No.
34:02Oh he's not gonna.
34:03No.
34:03He's not gonna.
34:07Oh my god.
34:13Oh.
34:14Tombstone.
34:15Tombstone on the edge of the ring.
34:23The tombstone pile driver from Kazuchika, Kota, Ibushi might have just ended the golden dreams of the golden star.
34:34Okada keeping to his strategy.
34:45Continuing to target the neck.
34:47Oh.
34:47Look at that.
34:51Compressing the cervical vertebrae.
34:56And the count is being told.
34:59It's a very known fact that Ibushi has had neck problems before.
35:09With Okada back in now.
35:12The target of the count for Renshuzuno is a fallen Kota Ibushi.
35:17Ibushi has a move.
35:18Yeah.
35:19He has a move.
35:20He's trying to well his body up.
35:30But we're so close.
35:33He's gonna get in.
35:35Oh my.
35:37Just barely.
35:38And Okada will capitalize.
35:40Not waiting.
35:41The neck breaker.
35:46Two.
35:47And a kick out.
35:49Again Okada.
35:50Now up on the shoulders.
35:53Oh.
35:54Good.
35:55Deep in debt.
35:56Heavy rain to Ibushi.
35:58Two.
35:58And that heavy rain gets the near fall.
36:01Two.
36:06Haven't seen Okada hit that in a while.
36:09Yeah.
36:11He'll pull it out for those big occasions.
36:13This is the biggest.
36:15So now.
36:20Okada had that surge of energy to try to put Ibushi away.
36:23Unable to do it.
36:25Now needing to regroup.
36:27But he still has Kota Ibushi.
36:30Exactly where he wants him.
36:31Oh.
36:44He folded him up like an accordion.
36:51And hangs on to the wrist.
36:53Oh.
36:53This all too familiar position.

41:23He knows everybody needs a winner here.
41:27Great officiating by Red Shruzano.
41:38The labored forearm from Okada connects.
41:48Ibushi's offering equally as labored.
41:51Both on point though.
42:00Ibushi's starting to throw harder.
42:03I think Ibushi is feeling confident.
42:08Ibushi showed earlier on.
42:18He can outstrike Okada.
42:20Does Okada have an answer with another flash drop kick?
42:24Or will he trade?
42:31They hammer each other.
42:34And Okada now.

43:07Exhaustion.
43:08Has to be set again.
43:13Which man can dig down deep enough to cross the finish line as the IWGP Heavyweight Champion?
43:19And Ibushi on his feet first.
43:22And Ibushi on his feet first.
43:34Be careful.
43:37Dangerous territory.
43:39An under hook.
43:40Remember years ago he battled Prince Debit.
43:44Lost to a bloody Sunday off the top rope.
43:47But I think that's what he's looking for here.
43:54Or could it be a Tiger Driver?
43:56It could be a Tiger Driver.
43:59Okada's trying to grab him to the rope.
44:02To stop him from happening.
44:04Losing grip with the left hand.
44:05Wait a minute now.
44:06Just enough to propel Ibushi down.
44:19But Okada sits perched.
44:21Oh wait.
44:21Oh.
44:21Oh.
44:23One.
44:24Two.
44:25He out.

44:34Ibushi catching Okada mid-hair.
44:39Another unbelievable counter.

44:43The Phoenix may rise.

45:35And no more.
45:36The Japanese commentary disc and our commentary disc blew up.
45:39We couldn't believe it.
45:40We were looking at each other saying.
45:42Did we see what we just saw?
45:43One more.
45:45Okada.
45:46Reaching for that wrist.
46:00Does Ibushi have an answer?
46:02Another one.
46:16Both hands on the wrist.
46:19Dragging Ibushi up.
46:23Red...
46:23Maker.
46:24Maker.
46:26Time.
46:33Still not enough.
46:37One more time.
46:39Oh wait a minute.
46:40Whoa.

46:42Head kick from Ibushi.

46:53Oh.
46:53Oh.
46:55Oh.
46:55Oh.
46:59Sit down Tombstone.
47:01One more time and the goal.
47:06Got it.
47:08He's done it.
47:10Wow.
47:29He's done it!
47:31Rocky, he's done it again!
47:32Hell yeah!
47:33I can say with all confidence, there is no better professional wrestling in the world right now.
47:44And that man sits on top of the mountain on night one, the IWGP Heavyweight Champion, Okada.
47:59And now, our main event for tomorrow night is set, gentlemen.
48:03The thing I'm thinking in my head is, yes, Naito's going in with a bad will, injured knee, but Okada, what was it, 40 minutes almost, Kevin?
48:16Yep, 32-16 was the time.
48:20What a hell of a match. Now he has to go recover and come back for night two.
48:33The rain of Katsujika Okada will continue on for one more night.
48:46Oh, for at least one more night, Rocky.
48:53If he can survive Kota Ibushi, I believe that that rain will go on long, long past that.
49:04What a main event, gentlemen.
49:05Okada is the victory.
49:07And for Kota Ibushi, the disappointed reality now starting to sink in.
49:25Coming so close and yet being denied the IWGP Heavyweight Championship.
49:32But, my God, how good was Kota Ibushi?
49:39Even Okada recognizing that, Rocky.
49:42So, you know, I can just see Ibushi in mouth, the words of, he's in a lot of pain.
49:59I think Tsuji was asking, where is it hurting?
50:02Ibushi is saying everything, but it looks like somebody else is walking out in front of us.
50:07Oh, yes, indeed, as Tetsuya Naito has come down here to the ring and is clutching his newly won IWGP Intercontinental Championship.
50:20And as they slowly begin to help Kota Ibushi from the ring.
50:25I don't think Okada's even noticed.
50:26Now, just at that very last second, Gino, yes.
50:30Okada now realizing that Naito is here.
50:32And these two men will meet tomorrow night in our main event with both championships on the line.
50:38The double gold dash.
50:39Who will it be?
50:40Okada or Naito?
50:45Shades of two years ago.
50:47Shades of seven years ago.
50:51Gentlemen, the things that had to happen for this main event to even become a thing.
50:59It's...
50:59It's...
51:00Well...
51:02What are we gonna hear about?
51:10Two years ago, do you remember what you said to me on the microphone after our main event?
51:16Well, it looks like I'm back in that spot one more time.
51:29It's the first time to lead that call in the Tokyo Dome.
51:47That's my goal and I'm gonna do it by beating you tomorrow night, Kazuchika Okada.
51:53Each man has overcome one mountainous obstacle tonight.
52:14Tomorrow night, they stand in each other's path of immortality.
52:18To be the king of the king of sports, to be the first ever dual IWGP Intercontinental and heavyweight champion.
52:26Tetsuya Naito, Koda, Kazuchika Okada.
52:30The crowd is so split, but there's chants on Naito.
52:43And both men can hold those belts proudly, but tomorrow night, only one of them leaves double champion.
