00:00I'm at Abbey Road Studios, which is probably one of the most famous recording studios in the world.
00:11So many major film scores were recorded here, including some of my favorites, Indiana Jones being one of them.
00:17It's always an interesting challenge to work on a project that was scored essentially by my hero,
00:23because John Williams is a musical hero to me.
00:26It's such a huge influence on my decision to even pursue music in the first place.
00:30It's just a part of my DNA.
00:34In order to recreate the sound of Indiana Jones, we actually are using the same size orchestra, 86 musicians,
00:41recording the music in the same space that John Williams recorded the original Indiana Jones scores.
00:48One of the characters in this game that I've really sort of latched onto is a character named Gina.
00:53She's a very strong female character, similar to Indiana Jones in a way, sort of going through life with reckless abandon.
00:59So I created a brand new theme for Gina that I feel kind of captures her personality.
01:05I've chosen to use some very interesting percussion instruments to sort of create an environment and give you a sense of space that the game takes place in.
01:13One example is an instrument called a jawbone, and it is quite literally a skull.
01:19And if you hit it, the teeth in the skull rattle, and it creates this sort of otherworldly sound.
01:26So I always feel pressure working on any major film IP.
01:30Indiana Jones is no exception.
01:32There is a lot of pressure, but as a fan, I am also sort of riding to my own fan expectations.
