00:00All right, first off, this is the Atlantic coast of Florida, okay, this is the other
00:03coast, where everyone gets all crazy, but boy, the video's intense.
00:08A man, a father, a husband, is out with his drone on the beach, his family's in the water,
00:14and he goes, man, this would be a great time to get some drone footage of my family swimming
00:18in the water, right?
00:19It's so cool, by the way, aren't those videos awesome of the drone footage of the beach?
00:22Because you look like you're in the middle of nowhere, because of the perspective, you
00:25know, it's just you out there in the water and everything like that.
00:27You look like little ants.
00:28All of a sudden, he sees a dark shadow.
00:32It's about 10 feet long, and it's swimming in circles, but not just mindless circles.
00:39I like to call them smart circles.
00:40It kind of knows what it's doing.
00:42He figures out it's a shark.
00:45His family has no idea.
00:46They don't have the perspective he does, because he's looking through the drone.
00:48Listen to him talk about it.
00:50Kids were playing in the beach, and I just decided, hey, now's a good time.
00:53I'll see if I can get a picture of them overhead.
00:54Literally, as soon as I got it into the air, I started seeing a shadow moving through the
00:59water right towards them.
01:01I was at the edge of the water, and the kids were standing in the water, and I was like,
01:04get out, get out, get out.
01:05I didn't know why.
01:06And so he immediately brings the drone to me, and he shows me the frame of the drone,
01:11and you see that shark swimming right at our kids.
01:13It was terrifying.
01:14First off, my wife is listening right now.
01:16She's throwing the kids' bathing suits away, probably calling a real estate agent and moving,
01:20because she is petrified of sharks.
01:23And we live so close to the Gulf, which I love.
01:25But, and by the way, I tell them all the time, like, this is their home, and you have
01:29no idea.
01:30If you knew half the things that were within five feet of us while we're swimming, you'd never
01:34get in again.
01:34Can you just never say that again, please?
01:37I don't want to think about what is swimming around me.
01:39And what's ever happened?
01:40Nothing.
01:41Like, nothing.
01:42Say that to the people who get their legs chomped off.
01:44Right.
01:45It does happen.
01:46First off, I would never say that to them.
01:48It is rare.
01:48First off, that would be rude, okay?
01:50Hey, just so you know, nothing's ever happened to me.
01:52Don't literally say that.
01:53I would never say that to them.
01:54That's awful.
01:55It's a figure of speech.
01:56I understand.
01:57But the video is really incredible, and I'm trying to imagine with five kids, if it's out
02:03there, I mean, I think, wouldn't you just freeze?
02:07I mean, obviously, you just run to the beaches and screaming and everything like that, which
02:10they tell you not to do.
02:11They tell you not to freak out.
02:12I can't even imagine, because I freak out when a little bit of seagrass touches my leg
02:16the wrong way.
02:16I'm like, what was that?
02:17And then it was nothing.
02:19Okay.
02:20Sorry.
02:21Spoiler alert.
02:22Yeah, I know.
02:22There was nothing.
02:23I was like, oh, no, it wasn't seagrass.
02:25What really was it?
02:26Oh, it was nothing.
02:26It was seagrass.
02:27One time, though, behind caddies, there was something I felt brushed against my leg, and
02:31I turn around, and it was a whole, it was a manatee.
02:34It scared the crap out of me.
02:37I thought you were going to say it's like some 60-year-old guy who just got divorced who
02:40was looking for some fun, which is usually what you see over there.
02:45I thought you were going to say it's like some 60-year-old guy who just got divorced.
