00:00We did a breast milk story.
00:02Fester found a story about a website called OnlyTheBreast.com.
00:09It's some kind of a group for mothers.
00:12Fester found this story, and it's about women that are selling COVID antibody breast milk
00:20or women that have been vaccinated with the vaccine, and they're selling their breast milk.
00:26And I asked the question about buying and selling milk online and other people, and the
00:31phones just blew up here.
00:33Hold on.
00:33And then we got a big Saturday Night Live controversy.
00:35We got a huge problem at SNL, which this has got to be really uncomfortable.
00:39We'll get to that coming up in just a minute.
00:41Let me hit phones here.
00:42First up, it's Michelle in Newport Ritchie.
00:44Michelle, you're on the MJ Morning Show on Q105.
00:48Hi.
00:48Yes.
00:49Well, first off, I'm so happy you guys are back on the air.
00:51It has been amazing hearing you guys over the last few months.
00:54But I wanted to comment about the breast milk because as a mom who had breastfed both of
00:58my babies, my second one, the milk didn't come in as quick as the first one.
01:03So I was totally open.
01:06You were totally open for what?
01:08I was totally open for the donor milk inside the hospital.
01:11You know, these doctors screen the milk.
01:13These moms are able to donate what extra they have.
01:16And it's like...
01:17Wow.
01:19Wow.
01:20Liquid gold.
01:21You know what?
01:23I've heard it called that.
01:24That's right.
01:24When Michelle was pregnant with Chloe and Julian, that's right.
01:28I heard the term liquid gold.
01:31I heard that.
01:32Yes.
01:33And if you spill a little teeny tiny bit of this milk, you are freaking out because all
01:37you keep thinking is, oh my gosh, I lost a tiny little bit of it.
01:41And your body works so hard to produce this.
01:44Yep.
01:44And it is magical.
01:46It is something that not everyone can get.
01:48Not everyone can produce.
01:49And if you're that mom that can do it, it's amazing.
01:51What do you think about the COVID milk?
01:54So I guess women that had COVID selling their breast milk that contains antibodies or women
01:59that got the vaccine selling the breast milk?
02:03Yeah.
02:03You know, I mean, to each their own.
02:06I think right now everyone has a different opinion on COVID and antibodies and all this stuff.
02:10I think you have to do what's best for your body and what's best for your baby.
02:14So I support any mom that can give it, any mom that can get it.
02:18You have to, fed babies are best babies, but that breast milk is amazing for me.
02:23Awesome.
02:23Michelle, thanks for the call.
02:25Oh, look, I think it's Mary Catherine.
02:27Didn't she call like a week or two ago?
02:29Yeah, from Saturday Night Live.
02:30Yeah, Mary Catherine Gallagher from Dade City.
02:33Hey, Mary Catherine, you're on the MJ Morning Show.
02:36Hey, guys.
02:36How are y'all?
02:37Do you have a breast milk story?
02:38Yeah, so I had to go to Vegas for a week when my son was about five months old,
02:45and I was freaking out because I didn't have enough supply to pump for a week to have stashed up for them.
02:52Oh, my God.
02:53Don't tell me.
02:54You hired a Vegas showgirl to pump breast milk for you,
02:58or you got breast milk from a dancer at the Spearmint Rhino.
03:03Definitely the Spearmint Rhino, yes.
03:06The milk had a spearmint flavor, too.
03:08All right, so tell me about Vegas.
03:11So I had to leave my baby at home in Florida, and so I was freaking out not having supply because I didn't want to give my baby formula.
03:20I had nothing wrong with it, but I just thought breast milk was best.
03:23So there's these groups on Facebook, which are screened mothers.
03:28It's a private group, and there's people who just supply a ton of milk, and they store it, and they freeze it.
03:36And I got a week's supply, and I pumped the whole time I was in Vegas, and I was able to feed my baby that breast milk.
03:43Did you get breast milk from, like, a blackjack-dealing woman?
03:46I did not get it in Vegas.
03:50The baby was here.
03:51She was out of town.
03:52All right, just checking.
03:53I was out of town, yes.
03:55That's great.
03:56Mary, Catherine, thanks for the call.
03:57All right, let me grab one more on this, then we've got to move on.
03:59It's Shannon in Tampa.
04:01Shannon, you're on the MJ Morning Show on Q105.
04:05Hi.
04:06Good morning.
04:07Hey, what's up?
04:07Well, I was just going to say I worked as an RN on a mother-baby high-risk therapy unit for about nine years, and we had not tons of them, but we had a lot of moms that would actually ask if we knew anybody that was donating breast milk, et cetera,
04:28because they did not want to actually go through the actual breastfeeding itself because they considered it either they were worried about what, you know, the condition of their breasts would be after they were sitting.
04:41Oh, they were so vain.
04:43They didn't want, like, they didn't want their boobs to sag?
04:46Yeah.
04:47Honestly, yeah.
04:48And, you know, it's really – breastfeeding is hard.
04:51It's hard.
04:51It is hard.
04:52It's very difficult.
04:53Kind of like the women that don't want to carry the baby and, you know, have the effects of giving birth, you know, and then they want to – they will get, like, a surrogate mom to carry their baby.
05:03Exactly.
05:04And that's what a lot of them do.
05:06And it is – I mean, nursing is very, very difficult.
05:08It's much harder than a lot of women realize.
05:11And then some of these moms just didn't even want to go through it.
05:15They would just ask if we knew of anybody that was donating or something.
05:18What about moms that, like, were drug addicts and they didn't want to give their babies, like, drug addict milk or something?
05:24They don't care.
05:25Well, I mean, obviously –
05:26Like crackheads or meth heads or –
05:28Yeah, yeah, no, you don't really want the meth head.
05:31Yeah, really.
05:31Hey, thanks for the call.
05:32I appreciate it.
05:33Fester, you – nice segment you came up with here.
05:36Yeah, it's about time.
05:37Let me just say real quick, when you breastfeed, it's like the first time you want to just rip carpet out of the floor.
05:43It's so painful.
05:44All right.
05:44Well, thank you for that.
05:46To illustrate the point, it's difficult.
